Guys I have a small problem with my front disc. It was very sharp earlier. Last week I gave the bike for a diesel wash and from then there is no bite to it.. It disc plate has become very smooth. I waited for 2 weeks and thought it would be fine but its still the same.. Any suggestions ?

Not at all, in fact the refinement and smoothness is well known trait of the bike (some say its best in 150cc class), People have been cruising smoothly on this bike at 100+ speeds. So dont even sweat about it.

First of all do a thorough pre-delivery check of your bike (preferably before the showroom people register it).

Since you're a fresh to biking, follow the run-in norms for the first 2000 kms

Before first service (@ 750-1000kms or 30days): Keep it below 60kmph, unders 4.5k rpm for smooth mating of ur engine components. Dont get panicky if you go over that once in a while, or u get some burning smell or that the gear shifts are clunky. All this is supposed to happen.

After the first servce and 2nd service and until 2000kms: Keep it under 5-5.5k rpm and under 70kmph. Feel your motorcycle.

After 2000kms & before 2nd service: You are free to cross these barriers but you may feel the engine grunt and heat. You may wish to change the oil once at 2000kms, some bikers change it every 500kms between the 1st and 2nd service (makes the engine smoother), but again u might as well wait as it is just another 1000kms for the next service at this stage.

After the 2nd service (3000kms+): Happy revving and full throttle!!

Also, maintain a good rapport with the service center and showroom people, it helps in the long run and small things. Read the manual, you'll love it.

I have listed these things based on my experience with the sf.
Thank you very much brother....will surely follow these steps.... :-p

Does installing projector headlamp or any other addition of led lights needs wiring cutting,

is there any possible way to use some kind of socket multiplier to wire these.

Guys i have my last free servicing in a few days and bought a 7100 from market and thought will change at the servicing they are telling that it will violate warranty and we have to buy from them and they dont have anything apart from the stock oil
                It it true?
Changing to 7100 voids your warranty?

Yes you have to be on stock oil, until your last servicing or the warranty will be avoid.

Side fairings are 1500 per side, front fairing is 2000. I asked this about 15 days ago when I had service in SMK Suzuki Chennai.

My fairings have a lot of scratches now due to parking in office. Thinking of changing it.

                          Thanks buddy for replying.
The fairing is divided into 2 parts on each side, does the whole firing of one side cost 1500 or only one, and the Suzuki sticker comes with it or have to take saperately. And how much service charge in SVC.

Is it possible to clame insurance for that? Have Bharti axa insurance.
