Definitely I will go for coil rewinding with 19 swg. You have mentioned that, we have to re route all the electrical from battery..

What are all the other electicals other than headlight that we have to re route from battery ?

After giving DC current to headlight from battery, the blue light in console is not lighting up... is there any solution for that ? actually why it is not lighting up ? logically, LED light should work on DC current. But why it is not working in GSR ?

    Regarding relay...
if we directly route DC current to headlight, there will be a small resistance loss from switches. That is neglected if we use relay. Moreover I think switches will get hot if i run 55w bulb. So i used relays...

You have mentioned that "There is a PM for you.".. What it means ?

Pictures of the white bikes are few and far between on this thread. Hope to see your bikes pictures soon. The white colour must be garnering a lot of attention on the road?

@mubashirkk & Gagan0123- Congrats on your new white and black rides.
      Thanks Vikhyath.
Will try to post the pictures tomorrow. I couldn't go to my new mate today due to some other engagements.
Regarding attention on the road, I expect so , but don't know really since I didn't check that.
Gear shifts are pretty smooth for me, feeling some vibration sound from the visor in the initial acceleration when in low gears.

Which light are you mentioning? If you cannot rectify it yourself, approach the SC. They will do the needful.

I am using 55/60 watt Osram Night Breaker bulb in the headlight. None of the switches are getting hot due to it.
Remove the relays now and try to convert the bike to full DC by coil rewinding and RR replacing. You can fit the relays after that if found necessary.

        • I am moving cities next week(to trivandrum) and my bike's free service is coming up in a couple of weeks. This might be a stupid doubt but, I can take it to the dealer in trivandrum for service right?

Yes. You can get it serviced at the SC at Trivandrum or anywhere else.

I have a problem...........pls kindly help it if you can....

Ever since I have converted my bike to DC, the hi-beam indicator in the instrument console do not show up.

My method of DC ing the bike was one of the first and crude on this forum.

People who are following this just like me, has let their concern be known to me too.

Suzuki SVC said that they need to change the instrument cluster, but it is not related to that. When insisted to check, they denied responsibility of any deviation from stock. settings.

Please provide an idea, why is this being so..........the hi beam indicator do not glow ?

I guess,High beam indicator is of LED so it might be in reverse polarity... Will check it and confirm you today..

looks pretty neat, one of my favourite 150 cc bikes, suddenly white colour seems to be rage among manufacturers ,does the headlamp runs on d.c. setup?
and the question remains why do i race?
every finishing line is the begining of a new race.

#i don't subscribe to co-incidence,either it is the rider or the other moron on the road

(:)people keeps on saying add spark to life, bajaj got hold of that idea and added an extra spark to bike.

Hi, LEDs will work in reverse polarity also.

As per the stock setting, power for this blue LED is fed by AC current which comes from RR unit.
This AC current is of half sine wave. Because other half of the sine wave is used for charging the battery.

                              I suspect the following:
                              1. In the console, there would be an inbuilt small rectifier that converts the AC to DC and fed to the Blue LED.
                              2. After DC conversion, we are feeding DC current directly, which is not working with the inbuilt rectifier.
                              3. OR, the circuit for the blue LED could be designed in such a way that, it will operate in half of the sine wave.

In my bike, that blue light is just blinking and goes off when i switch the high beam. So it lights up in the initial half sine wave...

Friends, please correct me if I'm wrong ...
