Re: Suzuki GS150R
Thanks. They fixed it. I think there was a problem with fuse. So far I have kept it below 4000 RPM and 60 Kmph. So far done 300 kms. Any pointers towards run in methods.Originally posted by venkan12 View PostWelcome to the club. Congrats on your selection. Pdi is on eplacebsuzuki leaves a big gap, thanks to thebcallous dealers.
I empathize because I share a similar precedent with my bike in the initial days.
Do take it to the same dealership, speak to the showroom manager, gice a bashing and ask them for an exchnage. You will atleast get good and instant attention on this bike.
All the best.

Also, can someone tell how does it behaves 60 Kmph and upwards.
Thanks and regards.

Run-In instructions are explained in Owner's Manual. They're more than sufficient.Originally posted by pundrick View Post...

Well on delivery day, they said they will send me manual in couple of days. But they never sent it. On reminder, they have said to send it today. I hope I have not deviated too much from What's mentioned in manualOriginally posted by SparKot View PostRun-In instructions are explained in Owner's Manual. They're more than sufficient.

Oops! that's bad. If you want to take it up a notch, use "Sales(Dealer Complaints)" category on Contact Us | Suzuki Motorcycle India Ltd. to register your complaint, bring it to Suzuki's notice about dealer's practices.Originally posted by pundrick View PostWell on delivery day, they said they will send me manual in couple of days. Re: Suzuki GS150R
I did that actually 4-5 days back . No response. Suzuki earned my respect with GSX650F. They are loosing it fast with GS150R.Originally posted by SparKot View PostOops! that's bad. . They should have asked vehicle identification number if authenticity is in question.

Re: Suzuki GS150R
Second service for my GS was completed 2 days ago. It was pretty much a general service with oil and oil filter change. I wanted to change the oil to Shell Advance AX5 but the svc supervisor told that filling oil outside might lead to some complications in future if a need arises to claim warranty. So, I had no choice but to agree for Suzuki recommended Castrol oil. But to my surprise, the svc guys used Castrol Power 1 4T 15w40 (semi synthetic) instead of normal Castrol 4T 20w40 (mineral). They told that they usually use this for GS alone. Happy to see that atleast they use their senses to use a higher grade oil for GS rather than using whatever is available in stock.
Gear shifts have become smoother than before, yet a bit notchy at times. I guess it will get smoother as I munch some more miles. No other major complaints so far. It really brings a joy in me whenever I ride my GS. The 2nd service at Balaji motors (Padi, Chennai) was good. Though the svc centre is small in size, the response and the workmanship were up to the mark.
4000kms done in 3 months.. I am a satisfied customer of Suzuki
