As for the run-in, I did not cross 4.5K RPM for the first 1000kms and managed within 7K RPM between 1000-2000kms, without holding on to certain RPM for too long.

Re: Suzuki GS150R
No noticeable difference below and above 60kmph. I had taken the bike to 105kmph (at 8K rpm approx) once and it still had some throttle left to go a bit further. The bike is very much capable of doing a smooth 80-85kmph without any strain. Anything between 85 to 100 is possible but with some effort and anything above 100 for a long time is purely a strain for the engine.Originally posted by pundrick View Post

Re: Suzuki GS150R
Though I should not say, peak power is @8500 PRM, you may want to take it to at least 8600 RPM every now & then, like on a lonely NH with good conditions (weather, motorcycle & you with riding-gears).Originally posted by samcan123 View Post...

Re: Suzuki GS150R
Agreed, but I am slightly held up with work and am yet to take it for a weekend ride. When I do so, I shall try pushing the bike above 8.5K rpm and see how it fares.Originally posted by SparKot View PostThough I should not say, peak power is @8500 PRM, you may want to take it to at least 8600 RPM every now & then, like on a lonely NH with good conditions (weather, motorcycle & you with riding-gears).
Thanks for reminding me of the peak power band.--I STOP ON RED--

You need special tools to dismantle the cone set. I think it is better if you get it done by a professional.Originally posted by SparKot View PostGuys, I need to know the size below circular steering nut:

Planning to purchase that steering nut socket. Is it available at SVC?
PS: Got rid of that mud dauber's paper nest.
I don't know if Suzuki sells their special tools to outsiders.
Found these videos in youtube today.

You could have man. How is the quality of conversion? I've seen that site; which in turn uses Google Translate APIs to get the job done. I don't have to comment on Google Translate, we had quite a collection of inter-language translation jokes.
How long does it take to convert? Coz Google Translate has limitations.

1. What special spare parts?Originally posted by anilkumar9Is there any special spare parts distributor for suzuki in bangalore?
2. Are you talking about Suzuki Motorcycles or Maruti Suzuki(4-wheeler counterpart)?
There are authorized spare parts distributors for Maruti-Suzuki.
I don't Suzuki Motorcycles spares are available outside. I think spares dealerships might open up once Suzuki on-road presence increases.

It is better than just "Google Translate". Try yourself, it takes only few minutes. Try translating from PDF to PDF.Originally posted by SparKot View PostYou could have man. I tried it before & again, I've slow bandwidth & can't help it. It didn't work. Some other problem at a friend's place, not sure how genuine it is.Originally posted by dip097 View PostIt is better than just "Google Translate". Try yourself, it takes only few minutes. Re: Suzuki GS150R
All of a sudden, my self start didn't work. I have checked the battery by pressing the horn, its louder. I think there might be some other issue. Also when I ride the bike in the top 6th gear, number doesn't show up in it. Its being shown for all the other gears. Also suddenly the fuel indicator bar blinks even though I have enough petrol.
All of these happened suddenly. I don't have any clues. Anyway I will visit svc tomorrow. Guys let me know what could be the issue.
