Re: Suzuki GS150R
Take it easy. Reaching ahead of an Apache or even a Hayabusa is not the primary goal of your life. I have heard about paralyzed motorcyclists bedridden for years before their death. Ride safely.Originally posted by venkan12 View PostLast edited by punarvasu; 10-09-2013, 01:15 PM.

It never was the primary goal of my life. Someine in this forum had technically mentioned how this is possible so thought of sharing it here.Originally posted by punarvasu View PostTake it easy. Online Shopping in India for Mobiles, Cameras, Watches, Clothes, Gift Vouchers ? Tradus.com
AA01 INSTANT CAR BIKE SCRATCH REMOVER PEN | eBay
formula1 scratch out | eBay
Are these things of any use ? has anyone tried any product like this ?
I got first scratch mark on my bike..
i donno how it came.. when i checkd my bike last sunday in the morning, it was there.. am pretty much sure it didnt happen from me or due to my fault.. may be some kids have done this.. !! :@ :@ or other chance is that some small piece of rock might have hit it while on road...
the mark is so small that it is not even 1 cm long. but i just want to remove it if there is a way..

Re: Suzuki GS150R
Did you get any chance to observe RPMs at which you perform clutch-less down-shifts with ease?
careful, ask another person to hold the bike while you check the level.Originally posted by punarvasu View Post...Hold the bike upright when it is cold without centre stand and check the oil level again.
How? Please elaborate on it a bit. Redirect me to post/page if it's already explained. Roughly how much surplus/deficit engine oil is acceptable from the midpoint between min-max markers? So that one can top-up/drain accordingly.Originally posted by punarvasu View Post... Excess oil does not provide more protection to the engine but damages it.
+1Originally posted by punarvasu View Post...I bought two 1 litre jars and am keeping the oil left for next oil changes.
It becomes difficult if the person is switching between brands or experimenting with brands/grades for the first time.
In 2010 new lot started appearing during April, I'm not sure about 2011, 2012 & 2013 got to check it. Probably someone keenly following the bike might point out changes brought out in successive batches.Originally posted by rsk_kelkar View PostGuys anybody knows of any facelifts or upgrades coming for our bike in 2014?? if so i would like to postpone my purchase to next year as it is quiet close to year end.Last edited by SparKot; 10-09-2013, 10:46 PM.There is no honest path to prosperity - KoKa

Re: Suzuki GS150R
Possibly the dirt or dust trapped between the disc and brake pads where the gap is less than 1 mm. There are other reasons too but not on a new disc.Originally posted by kksin123 View Postthe oil level is between l and m. i do get a screech sound while applying front brake..what could be the reason
Washing the disc with water and detergent eliminates this noise but it reappears again. If you complain about it at the SC, the mechanic will apply a very little oil or grease on the disc or drain some brake fluid allowing air to enter in the brake line as he has nothing else to do.
As the dust or even mild rubbing of pads on disc does not affect the performance of the bike, ignore that noise.

Re: Suzuki GS150R
Purchased the bike today. I did not take the showrooms offer of road tax, registration and insurance as the insurance company was some unheard of and for registration they charged a little extra. So i did the registration and insurance myself today and saved 490 bucks
. Total it cost me Rs 74531/-(67338+5457+1736). Will be taking delivery this sunday though
