I drive mostly on the Ring Road, Bangalore. Which is almost like highway driving except for the dense traffic

    My observations are thus.

If we maintain an average speed of 45 kmph, Mileage : 60 km
If we maintain an average speed of 50 kmph, Mileage : 55 km
If we maintain an average speed of 60 kmph, Mileage : 50 km
If we maintain an average speed of 65 kmph, Mileage : 45 km

I cannot comment on city driving mileage though

I drive a lot in the city filled with speed breakers and eternal traffic jams.

Always get econ figures bet 45 and 50. Nothing more nothing less

I am not a GS150 owner, but have test ridden it and I own a Hero Honda Hunk.
Unicorn would be a nice choice, but it is aged, look for Honda Trigger if your friend likes it.
Xtreme/Hunk also has refined engine, though can't comment if it is as refined as GS150, it is about personal taste.
Xtreme/Hunk are comfortable bikes, though may not be as comfortable as GS.

Thanks. I have asked him to take a test ride of Honda Trigger. I went and had a look at it. IMO, that bike looks little compromised on the build quality compared to GS150R. Also the test vehicles are new and generally refined. But on the long term they don't last long on the refinement and build quality.

I honestly believe this question should be raised in What Bike? section for better responses.

I have ridden Hero-Honda Achiever in the same class; I wouldn't recommend it against GS150R.

The only bikes comparable to GS150 are Unicorn and FZ in 150CC class.
A bike on the road is worth two in the shed.

Sure I will do that. I posted here, just to hear comparable bikes from GS owners

Thanks Krishna. We are yet to try FZ

                          1. How old is that brake-liquid in the master cylinder?
                          2. What type of brake fluid is it? DOT-3 or DOT-4?

Nice, congratulations. You're from NALSAR, hope free legal advice for GS150R owners are in order .

How much did that engine mud-guard cost?

Thank you Sparkot. I myself was expecting to be at the receiving end for all the priceless aid and advice from the bunch of richly experienced GS riders over here on this thread

All the accessories including seat cover, Saree guard, Mud Guard came within 1 grand. We did not ask for the customized bill.
