Alright,
Share the experience of using Nulon/Rolon chain lube spray. I read NULON in your earlier post...Originally posted by anilkumar91) Tried ROLON CHAIN LUBE SPRAY. photo not available. Shall i go for GREASE instead of GEAR oil?
Hot grease bath is suggested, but it's tedious & grease attracts more dirt.
Gear oil is cheap & best for traditional chain lubrication.
I got Castrol EP-90, I don't know which one is better. Will be getting Motul All-Gear 80-90 Oil.Originally posted by anilkumar92) Which brand of GEAR OIL you use? Which one is better?

Not Owner's Manual, Zeus's Service Manual.Originally posted by anilkumar9In service manual, tappet adjustment will not be there. that will have only with suzuki dealer.
Get the tappet adjusted from the SVC personnel instead.

Re: Suzuki GS150R
Hi All,
After finishing 800km within 22 days today I had first servicing of my GS and it was pretty ordinary service like changing an oil & old oil filter, Chain sprocket setting and air filter clean-up. Minor checkup like break and fuel setting was also a part of it. I was physically present during the servicing to check what service technician exactly does to new machine. You won’t believe it guys but it was very surprising to me when I saw serviceman added Castrol 4T 10w30 in GS engine. (I believe this oil is used only for Access125 & Swish engine)….too pathetic. I brought this to the notice of showroom manager and he apologized for the mistake and said he is new Suzuki technician and later he changed it to Castrol 4T 20w40 (mineral). I could understand technically a novice could make such mistake but being new machine my GS would have ruined in this hot summer season. This is a lesson for me & I request all GS new users to personally present while servicing.
I have been taking care of breakin period and still holding below the 3.5 k (not yet touched 55kmph). After this servicing am planning to check the adrenaline of the machine and will tryto reach 80 kmph. Is ok to guys to go beyond the 4.5 rpm after second service??
When checked with speedometer following speed w.r.t rpm is noticed in 6th gear. Is this the right speed to rpm ratio guys??? Or does anyone having different figure than this
2.5k (rpm) – 40+kmph
3.0(rpm)-45 kmph
3.5(rpm)-45-50 kmph
4.0(rpm) - 55+Last edited by RaviRaj123; 05-24-2014, 07:14 PM.

Apparently same as Access125's Oil-Filter part# that I bought recently:

There is no way you can find the correct level for oil inside the engine crankcase with such measurement , and very likely mis-judge the oil quantity .Originally posted by SparKot View Post... no I don't have, planning to buy one ...
Fill engine oil to correct level by the dip-stick or level-window on your engine only . All manufacturer provide a way to find correct oil level in the engine case and this is most accurate and the right one to go by . You may place a suitable plastic funnel into the fill-hole to pour in the oil . Drain the old oil hot .
