Can you post a few pics to show the change? You had AA series prior to change rite. I have asked a replacement for my BA series as well. Since service engineer is on leave, it will take some time for me to get it replaced. Is it worth to buy the unit if they are not replacing it under warranty?

Even on my mini-tour i had mentioned a few pages back, the GS had the brightest HighBeam after P220 & Karizma

There is a remarkable improvement over the standard setup...

From your earlier post it seemed like the dealer was very unhappy about the replacement of the RR unit. I don't want to upset the dealers by reporting the problem straight to Suzuki. I asked about replacement to them, but they were unaware about it.

Now I have BA series and the intensity of head light remains constant once its past 2K rpm. Can you verify from which rpm the headlight becomes steady with CA series.

By the way guys, the Rectifier & Regulator unit only increases the efficiency of AC-DC conversion, isn't it? i.e. it can reduce the flickering of head light in low rpm and better battery charging. Do anyone know what is the change from BA to CA like Regulating IC, Capacitors etc....

What a contradiction!!!, I felt like even the 100 CC's have better lighting than GS. Once I was riding late night, suddenly noticed a light source higher than me is approaching from back. Thinking it will be a 220 or Karizma, I moved to a side and then I realized that light source was a new Passion Pro. That was a big blow to my pride of being a GSpian........

PS: Thanks bro, I'm a big fan of Anime . The avatar is pic of Vash, a sharp shooter(and flashy) who never misses a target(suits me well).

They won't know about replacing RR. You HAVE to contact Suzuki for the replacement, then only they will call.

Yes, even I am waiting for this answer. Someone please compare and tell!

Hahaha Maybe Passion's lights are placed facing little upward, or his highbeam can be on. Both Passion and our GS has 35W halogen only, so intensity depends on the focussing.
                    My answers in bold

Yeah both are same but the lighting is definitely different. If anyone have found themselves in such a situation feel free to comment. I always drive in dipper and this guy gave me an upper and dipper , just as he covered me I could see the difference of lighting. Its not just the focus, but the intensity, spread, illumination everything was better than GS.

I tried to give Suzuki a query(Suzuki Motorcycle Corporate Office) but it gave me an error mentioned by Adi earlier. I typed a hell lot of things and all of it was lost as well. What could be the problem?

for suzuki workshop guys are real morons ..u keep on begging for replacements & ur warranty gets over ..just mail to suzuki and get ur job done ...
amd there is no point of upsetting any dealer ...if u r not satisfied with any one try the another..above all if u r getting better configuration after replacement then why not go for it.
sorry for not able to post pics ..its raining here like hell ,,cld nt get out

                            • @ Performator

I had given a query to Suzuki, hopefully they will respond soon. I have been waiting for your post. Buddy you can still note when the head light becomes steady. Just put bike in main stand and just try opening throttle as slow as possible and note when the intensity of the light stops to increase. In BA series after 2-2.5K rpm there is no appreciable change in intensity of light.

Today I did some some riding through some unknown roads and upper is doing its job well, its the dipper which is very poor. Upper seemed a little high but if i adjust it a little lower the dipper will be even poorer, isn't it?

                              • @anup in CA series flickering stops at 1.5-1.7k but still i agree head light throw is worse than my activa.
