I also wanted only p220 fairing(i like it so muchOriginally posted by BiKeLovER View PostGuys I am planning to ahead with the same mod of only fearing
But Instead of karizma fearing i am planning for pulsar 220 fi fearing
will look good i need your suggestion guys
please help me
which will look better
) initially. went to bajaj showroom and enquired its price. he was not having stock but said it will cost above 6k. So went to mod guy and asked him to change to p220. he said it'll cost 9000 same cost as fazer
.. so he suggested karizma one which cost 4.5 k. also he said for p220, if any accidents happens, you have to change the complete set which will cost you heavily. but for karizma, each and every part is available seperately.. so finally went for it.

headlamp my thoughts
I feel the default bulb is the culprit. Rest of the headlamp things are fine.
In our default bulb esspecially the dim mode plays the spoil sport. Because on dim the light is wide but only a thin v shapedline is visible.
Rest of the area is unclear and the long light is not that bad. So replacing it with any other bulb works wonder.
If you are a regular highway night rider then go for HID. Else try the ultrablue or any other equal varient.
Make sure its 12v 35/35 and it should not generate more heat to spoil the holder and reflector.
Most of us doesnt want to take risk of warrenty so as they are sitting silently while talking about farring or doom change.
Today one guy comment about my bike default pilot. Light, it was night and dark place was waiting for my friend to return bike is running with pilot lamp only on
One guy came and said what bike is this one, the flickering pilot lamp light reminds me the wild beast waiting to attack.Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity

you are right, when i adjusted the HL adjustments screw, the long light became focussed and brighter, but as you said its the dim part that sucks. I am a journalist and highway night rider from past 9 years, on splendor and suzuki heat later. so comparatively gsr light is better. but i will have to upgrade to brighter bulb is sure thing. ill go and search in some more shops for either silver star or the one which you have mentioned.
Thanks.sigpic

For HID just follow Animiher's advice or just read his posts for more info
If you want to put HID with out trouble from traffic cons... go for projectors like the one in P220. yes its costly but it will be good,
you can even try out the old used car projectors that would be good and cheep.Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity

Please let us know the grade mentioned in the scooter manualOriginally posted by Sumitdey1 View PostI don't know where to post this?
Can anyone tell me a good engine oil for 100cc gearless scooter - Hero Honda Pleasure (My Wife's)
Also can i use synthetic oil for the scooter?
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
it should be the same grade and almost the same way of synthetic or motul we follow
for GS150R its 20W 40 we can use motul /gulf / shell 20w-40 mineral or semi with 15W-40 or synthetic ranging from 5w-40 to 15w-40

Just follow the same methodSarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity

, If its good as CA series, we can buy from themself from dealer
I think u never tried Phillips ,35/35 premium 30% extra light(not true but better) ,it is better than our stock halonix (not ultra blue)
Whatever we change our dim section is not sufficient with 35/35 bulb
due to the setup we have
Did u get traffic police attention for ur ultra blue

See Pulsar 180's mainjet is not as big as the RTR180s Mainjet,Originally posted by Saru44 View Post
Mach bhai or others please help..I need rejetting ASAP since my engine is heating up badly
On the other hand ,The Pulsar 180s needle Jet has better perforations than the RTR180 needle jet.
Till now New Pulsar 150 and Pulsar 180's Carb kits are not available, otherwise you can go for them, both new Pulsar 150 and 180 uses UCD29mm carbs, needle jets would be better with 117 mainjet, but brother RTR180 runs 120 mainjet, its bigger.
Go to TVS buy RTR180 mainjet,or wait for its delivery on order, would cost around Rs.40
Go to Bajaj buy Pulsar 180's needle unit.....be cool
But if you have to buy kits for both motorcycles,it wont exceed 400 bucks to the best. Then find on the internet how Mainjet looks like and how needle jet looks like.
Mainjet is the widest and the shortest jet.
Needle jet is the longest jet, thinner than mainjet.
Mainjet is screwed on top of Needle jet.
Pilot jet is located separately,its is small.Last edited by MACH50; 10-20-2010, 03:47 PM.Hell's Angel

Bike is good smooth but I feel the sound volume is bit increased I think its due to the extra 100ml space is left for the air in engine
So do I have to add 100ml oil to bring back the sound to normal.
Thinking about adding mak 4t 100ml.
Suggestions please

The sound increases as we ride because the tappets get loose eventually with riding. i dont think it has anything to do with the 100ml oil, though i remember reading somewhere in this forum that a person had put about 400ml extra oil above the "F" mark and the engine ran much smoother and quieter than usual.. I wanted to try this once too, but then since it might be harmful to the bike i didnt try out this idea.Originally posted by MSN1 View PostGSpians suggestions please
But 100ml wouldn't make that much difference, and you can add any oil to bring the level back to "F" if you like, the bike may run a few degrees cooler due to more oil in the bike though
