He knew that my bike has just covered 500 km still he drove at higher rpm i again told him that bike is still in run in period but he didnt stop. He drove bike in higher rpm for about 30 sec or more in total. Now i am concerned about my engine will it affect my engine? Before this i was driving below 4.5 k rpm.
Is your bike sounds and works normal then leave that
occasional few seconds burst wont affect normally but it may

Well i didn't need to ask anyone as the road signs were pretty clear. wherever i stop, i found people staring at the bike

I will try the same, use a good fur seat cover & laminate it. Question though, because of the lamination doesn't the seat tend to slip & is the seat still soft after the lamination

          • Normal Air vs Nitrogen Air

Hi, can anyone tell the pros & cons of using Normal air for tyre vs nitrogen air. How does it affect our bikes ? Is nitrogen air recommended for bikes ?

I have filled nitrogen three months back for rs 100 in both tires from empty. The following are things i experienced personally.

1)The first thing, i noticed is bike felt lighter than earlier.
2)I also experienced better suspension comparatively(in pathhole and rugged roads).
3)Till now there is no need to refill the tires with nitrogen though there is decrease of 2ps in tires.

Hope you got the pros but as far as the cons are concerned till now nil.

I dont know why,but my bike has too fell down a couple of times(in the parking lot) and headlamps(white halonix) have been changed, but I have no notion of loose fairing or rattling fairing sounds or vibration sounds from the fairing. The bike stands together as if to last forever.

The only sound one would get from my bike is that of loose chain and may be bit loosened tappets due to excessive amount of acceleration all the time.

                  • Hey Guys, how are you all doing ? Am posting after a very long time but i make it a point to visit xBhp regularly and read all the Discussions going on. Great going Guys.

Even i am experiencing mild Vibrations from the Visor at different speeds. Will try out the DIY Solution posted here later.

Am nearing 9K Kms on my GSR and am giving it for the 9th Paid Service next week.
Am running on Gulf Pride Oil for now. Completed running 2000+ Kms on this Oil.
Am thinking whether to switch to Motul 3000T or stick with Gulf itself ? Am not thinking of Synthetic now.

Also, i experience pain in my left palm below the thumb area, if i ride for a long time or if in traffic. I put a Handle Grip but still the Pain persists. I also purchased Biking Gloves. The Pain has reduced a bit but it's still there.
Do any of you Guys also experience such pain or is it something to do with my Palm Structure ?

U didn't tell us How is ur gulf oil performed ....Even i changed the gulf oil after some 2500 Km Still It is in the color Wine red ..and with viscosity also there,My SC mech afterwards tell me to use MOBIL super 4T 20w 40 , which is also good and most of them using here changing after 3500km....
I plan to go Gulf pride again as motul is not avail in my small town....Its not bad to check how motul performs over gulf pride...So go for it ....And try , bcos no one tell this oil is bad , In fact I feel Motul is superior than gulf....

on 26-11-10 i got back my GS after first service they told me that every thing(apart from noise issue) ok and started back to home, i noticed some new sound from front wheel and i stoped my bike and came know that a blot is missing from the front disc break assembly i was shocked thank god i didnt meet with any accident, then i took a photo using my mobile phone and called them fix it . now let u know that what a people they are!!!!?

please can anyone help me how to post the image here, so that i can post that photo image here.
