Hey bike lover nice setup there. do post the pics of the beam(both low and HI). I believe you have made the lights DC. So what are doing for the pass? How did you connect the projector to the pass switch? Did you test the pass switch with projectors?Originally posted by BiKeLovER View PostThanks.....
The Output was fanstatic.....
but will need to wait for the pic of focus as my brother took the bike
and gave me his karizma......
Baically gave it to him becuase he travlled around 250 km from pune to kolhapur...
and wanted to test the relaibality of lights and the setup...
but he will send the pics soon and will update it accordingly...
What are the degrees of freedom you have given to the projector? Is it just up down only or right left also possible?

my reply in bold.Originally posted by shrikky View PostHey guys.. im back after a long time... hit 118 kmph few days back :P my highest.. bike is pretty stable when it comes to speed.. but i have 2 doubts...
1. I keep hearing a lot of squeaky sound in my bike ... when my bike moves in clutch or when i use rear break.
2.My hand pains a little as i met up with accidents few months back which had bent my handle bar. how much would it cost to change the handle bar? the showroom guy said 250? is it just 250?
3. I feel my gearbox is terrible. I'm Always getting neutral when going to 2nd gear..and i feel big TAP sounds when shifting from 2nd to 1st gear. and sometimes randomly other gears too.. wt is the problem with it? and how much will it cost to change the gear box?
1st to 2nd....there's neutral in between, so u need to push the pedal a little more to correctly shift in 2nd from 1st. check clutch setting first. since you are saying that u met with an accident, clutch cable might have lost correct setting.
check for overtight chain. it will cause hard or noisy gearshifts. don't worry gearbox won't get damaged so easily.
Suzuki guys r pretty useles.. bikes feels good just that first few days after service , later i get back all my problems !anything that can go wrong will surely go wrong at the wrong time and the wrong place

haha yes .. well it is like this... since i had too much sound when shifting from 2nd to 1st gear most of the time. i told the service guy about it. he did something which made me go to neutral very easily than 2..it never happened before like this.
My accident happened long back. 2 services got over after that. can clutch be an issue?
Im hearing sound everytime i shift gear :@

I screwed my bike
Yesterday, from what I assume I think I have killed the adapter of the bike.
Actually I was on a road rage yesterday, and while overtaking a speeding i20 I did some 98kmph in the third gear, then shifted upwards to get around 116kmph on a congested highway. But the problem was that I could not get over 116kmph,the bike started losing power in the sixth gear all of a sudden, I downshifted to fifth but it was reluctant to redline anymore, which is originally not its nature.
Later on I found the bike alright till 9000rpm, but when pushed to redline it keeps losing power drastically.
Now from what I assume as per my knowledge on the forum, I feel that my bike needs a new adapter.
So what is the cost of this part called "adapter" ???Hell's Angel

Hope there is no oil leakage and smoke from the bike. Anyhow, accelerating the bike up to the extents you said will surely ruin its engine soon.

It is better to get the carburettor retuned by an efficient mechanic with the help of a gas analyser. Remember that all mechanics are not able to do it properly.

1. There may be some dust in the rear brake, between the drum and brake shoes or the brake shoe may be over tightened while adjusting the brake. Loosen the brake nut and see the result. If the sound persists, get the brake drum and shoes cleaned by the mechanic.
3. The sound you mentioned is common in every GS and it is difficult to get rid of it unless you become very much experienced in gear shifting. Try to release the accelerator momentarily and thus lower the rpm and at the same time shift the gear. There is no need to replace the gear box as the new one also will make the same noise.

Thanks for the pricing info.Originally posted by vishnukmd View PostThe reason – as you think - may be a leak or loose connection in the carburettor plug adaptor which costs a little more than Rs. 50/-, but, if the problem prevails after replacing it, check and clean the carburettor plug and adjust its gap, clean and, if necessary, replace the air filter.

BTW, if there is any oil leakage or smoke to observe for......which are the places and when should I look for ???
I too feel that nothing much is wrong with the bike.
After I get the new adapter installed I would implant the Spitfire cable lying idle in my home......would also buy an irridium CR7HIX to replace the stock CPR7HSA.
Since I have ridden a couple of Suzukis(Shogun and Fiero) before I got myself GS150R, I still do not believe that hard acceleration would ruin the GS150R.But if it does then its a sad news that Suzuki traded performance in search of delicacy..........but I do not assume it is true.Hell's Angel
