Once again CHEERS! Long live that mechanic and the bikes he has repaired.

          1. Its higher for any normal indian women. Not for those who use high heels.

2.if I tell the fact it may upset unicorn lovers so you test ride and and tell us, one thing I can tell now is its way better than that.

The oil level may lower further after starting.

In most cases, the oil is not drained fully; a considerable part is left. Both excess oil and insufficient oil is harmful. That is why I asked to fill 1 litre and top up if necessary.

Vishnu bhai....I also agree with you.....I am not telling to drain out the oil almost completely and change the filter.....if we do that obviously we need more oil...
I am just telling if we drain the oil out normally for example 5 minutes and then we do not change the oil filter......1L of oil is sufficient and the oil level will be near F mark....this is for sure....

                  1. Pillion seat is high, not too high. Infact you will enjoy when your gf hold you tight by your arm while sitting or getting down.

                  2. When comparing it with Unicorn in smoothness, yes GS does beat it. Its smoothness and silence of engine is unmatched. Comparing in terms of comfort um.. Unicorn comes with mono suspension which is very comfortable and GS is equipped with dual. I will not say GS is better than Uniform in comfort but yes it is definitely not too far from it.

Test ride yourself buddy. We can just give our opinion its you who have to ride the bike.
                  Best of Luck.

                    • overheard a nice and wise advice

As usual went to my friends mechanic shed.

Another customer asked him to drive his bike to let him feel the roughness and other issues,

He took it short ride came back and agreed to all his complaints, said in kanada local slang (yes sir you are right will you let me do some thing or still you want to go with ASS for 2500 kms once water wash as your bike warrenty is still valid for another year.

I was stunned and taken a step back as his words are applicable to me.

After some silent minutes asked him to test my bike he smiled and replied come you ride and ill sit on back we went for a 2 kms drive, while on the way he proved and let me also feel and realise the issues in my bike, returned back and before he asks the same question I said brother please fix an appointment for my bike during this weekend.

Vishnu, I felt it was a wise decision from my end, as we are spoiling the bikes life by giving it to dealer for service whereas in return they are doing only water wash. I felt that very much during my last two services.

If we ask Svc they wont agreed to the fact so as decided to do service at local mechanic and give it svc for scheduled service on time to maintain warranty yes like the dealer I wont reveal the fact about doing service at local mechanic

At last our intention is to keep the bike in good health
