Any shampoo of low or neutral pH factor is enough; I think. But where can you find out such one in our country?

Formula 1 (original), Formula USA (the famous duplicate), ArmorAll/STP (hope it is original) waxes and ArmorAll wash & wax.

yes. go ahead with it. insurance guys will charge around 50-80 bucks for some miscellaneous shit. Other than that, you can expect all your money back. BUT the big question is...when??.....insurance guys take pride in slapping the rulebook on unsuspecting victims and delay or cancel the claim as much as possible. So be on guard. Better go for cashless insurance than play the pay and wait game. Best of luck.

No bribes involved....dont play that game.

          • troubles continue...

after repeated attempts to solve various issues with my bike at ASC and spending almost all my weekends since 12th feb at ASC....I met Suzuki Engineer at Shree Sai Suzuki @ Thane. He listened to all my problems...he rode my bike himself and confirmed that my observations are true and there are serious issues with crankshaft, bearings, gear train....guess i can call it defective engine
he's ordered a a few components from factory as they are not available with dealer. Promised me that they will dismantle the engine fully and check each and every part. All the defective parts will be replaced under warranty. I hope at this time they replace all the engine internals and give me a trouble free bike....
anything that can go wrong will surely go wrong at the wrong time and the wrong place

                    Madhu,
It is duplicate grainy stuff with a nasty smell and even the place of manufacture is not shown on the container. Before using it to wax the bike, test it on your helmet or something like that and see the result.
It is better to not use it as it will spoil the paint.

The colour, smell and polish are different.

Waxpol Auto Polish ( in orange tubs ) is excellent pure carnauba wax , made in India , no fakes , around 100 Rs for 200gm . I have tried almost all the other products in market here . Waxpol's shine lasted the longest ( been using it for years n years ), Turtle hard wax was as good but it is pricier . Why experiment with dubious "imported" etc stuff on your precious paint finish for more money ?
Sometimes you may not find this in bike/car stores anymore mainly because it's cheap & good & indian so our shops don't like that , but it is also found in large hardware shops ( wooden/marble floor polish) , furniture finishing shops and paint stores .
For matt finish plastics ( typically black ) use waxpol liquid silicone polish , becuase wax stains are difficult to buff off those .Else it can be used on wooden furniture , paint , plastic , linoleum , marble flooring , leather , nickel , chrome .... almost anything .
OT - try this sometime on your leather shoe / wallet / watchstrap etc ... wipe it clean with damp cloth .. apply this wax .. let it dry for an hour ... and buff hard with horsehair shoe-brush . Shiniest shoes ever .. better than kiwi/cherry-blossom anyday , and ohh did I tell you , raindrops will just roll off your shoes .

I am planning to get this modification.

                            • Rode the bike for 50 km mostly highways, things i noticed:

                              1. Engine heated up at the end of the ride so hot that my pants were hot too.
                              2. Their is a distinct vibration at 3.8k rpm exact it is even more noticeable while deceleration. I read it in the forum somewhere mentioned by someone else too.
                              3. I revved the bike a little while taking off from the signal,i tried to avoid it since its new but just couldn't stand losing to my friends' Fz,pulsar180 and 150. And yes did beat them twice who said GS has slow pick up if proper gear shift are done it has the best pick up( maintained a top speed of 60 for most part)

now here is the weird good thing, the bike feels and rides better after ripping it a little. There is no lag in pick up which i faced after the 1st service.

                              • ^^^^ Ive experienced that weird thing too.

One more weird thing (atleast on my bike) is that the gear shifting is butter smooth only at the rpm range around 4 - 4.5k. At all other rpm's, its a bit hard....as in it shifts in 2 notches and sometimes makes a fairly audible thud sound.
