Hi friends,
can any one tell me who are doing Servicing in Bangalore, since i am not satisfied with the AIRPORT Road Suzuki ..
the problems which i want to get recitifed or Replaced are..
1. Pickup ( After breaking at speed breakers, i need to gear down to 2nd, since i am getting tuck. tuck for all 3rd,4th and 5th gears)

@mathewsyriac
I read you had low mileage issue(long time back). Has the issue been rectified now? What is the mileage now? With great Power(and Torque) comes great responsibility.

is this a problem in the reserve knob? or any thing else???
even i had this problem before first service and i went to the SC saying low mileage and made a fool of myself
.
but now i seems to be normal, if i go to reserve and then main it goes only 1.5km max(guess thats the fuel in carb.
has anyone tried riding with fuel in off position ??to check how much distance it goes with the fuel in carb.
can someone please reply to my previous post which was

I have a doubt.
can dust settle inside the chain cover ??
2 days ago i rode thru heavy rain, muddy water etc etc.
next day there was about 2 cm of sand on top of the chain cover(just so u know how bad it was), and the rest of the bike too was very diry.
and now whenever i leave the accelerator and hold the clutch i get a feeling as if brakes are being applied mildly(speed reducing faster than usual).
i've not been applying the brakes(checked that properly, brake lights arent on),
so could there be lot of sand inside chain cover or any other place causing this to happen?? "

thank u palOriginally posted by animeher View PostOil change not needed. Change oil after you run 2000-2500kms, so in your case, the change is necessary only in 2600-3100km range. The oil is good now.

I think you should do an oil change for the second service. the reason is the metal remnants after the break in would be left in the oil. The third service would to too far away. The oil viscosity is affected not only by usage but also by time.Originally posted by donarun View Postany comments on the oil change ?With great Power(and Torque) comes great responsibility.

IMHO too much oil viscosity strains the pistons, gears and clutch. A bit lower viscosity at 0degree is ok as it eases the oil circulation when the engine is cold. It is always better to stick to the company specified VI. The engineers do a lot of thinking so that we can just trust them for the best results.
Now i'm not a very experienced guy, so elders and seasoned bikers will know better I guess. With great Power(and Torque) comes great responsibility.

2day Mr Vinod Natarajan (Service in head for south India) had come down from delhi.
Wow what a service!!!!!
He personally inspected my bike..
I was worried that my bike was not shiny..
They applied polish and made it look damn good..
The ABT guys were not satisfactory. they don't even wipe the bike after water wash...
Bike is super smooth now...
About mileage, he did some fine adjustments. Hope it should improve???
Call SMK porur at 04423861445 regarding the timings..
Ask for Mr.Kalyan can refer my name also...
