Yes this good service was done by a experinced local mechanic not a suzuki trained or well educated service engineer.

Madhu bhai....as you have written above....how do we get the headlight focus tuned.....?
Because I am in the process of putting the Osram Nightbreaker for my bike...and at that time I want to readjust the focus....please let me know how to do it....
Also let me know where you got your bike serviced in Bangalore....

I refered focus tuning for light falling length adjustment.

By default our GS low beam is set to cover wider than any other bike so its null focus and high beam is just fine

I am not using bike for long trips during night so didn't opted for headlight unit modification

You have to do something like what "bikelover" did really correct the focus.
Let's wait and see his report after a month to check if it really works in long term from battery and current load sharring point of view.

I got the bike serviced by my friendly local mechanic

hi guys ...
finally got the tank replaced ... && now the the beauty is back scratchless ... so soothing to eyes.
but it costed a blow to my month budget .. hope the insurance company refund "s the amt. sooner.
also got the CO testing done .. for max fuel eff. .. will see the figures in a few days..

Madhu: can you break down the total you paid into what all services was done? I assume that you brought your own oil....so the cost seems a bit high for regular service.

Due to the parabolic multi-focus reflector of the headlight, its beam cannot be focussed to a point. But you can adjust the high beam to a lower position but the high beam facility, which is inevitable outside city, will be lost.
Osram NB bulbs are available here, in my nearest town for Rs. 750/-. If anyone is interested, send a PM with postal address.

The lights fitted on the crash guard seem to be fog lamps. What is the wattage of the bulbs?

Hey, the projector looks awesome,
Just one idea though, why dont you paint the stock reflector black, anyway the reflector isn't of use with the projector, and it would look awesome.

Yes They are Fog Lamps....They are Each 15 Watt...

I havent Uploaded the CloseUp Pic (Will upload it soon)but if you can zoom and see the present PIc...

You will see that there is Glass around the Projector lamp.... Which will look good when you see the bike in flesh.....

Will upload the closeup pic soon.....To get the complete Idea

Nice one BikeLover, looks greats. Me too planning to go for a good projector and angel ring. As Falcon suggested the smoked one will look uber cool.

After a long time today I went for a long drive, ha nothing gives more satisfaction than a good long drive listening to the beat of the engine.

Hello,

Here is the close up pic of the headlight, were you can see the mirror around the projector lamp...........It took almost two hours to cut that mirror according to the reflector and allign the projector in between.

I did fix the glass beacuase I was going to sourse the projector lamp from ranjith xbhp

But looked for a junkyar last saturday and found a skoda headlamp with two projector for 600 rs

than fixed the same projector with my lamp....

but it had some gap between the projector lamp reflector and the projector lamp glass...

which was looking a bit dull so came up with this idea and fixed it...

by the way guys there good HID projector kits with a direct fit to stock wiring came in pune

for 2500......Will try after some time on my karizma........
