whatever if your bike is under warranty then prove the fault and get a replacement disk from suzuki

as said earlier regarding my GS clutch cable gone case, can some one tell me shall i claim a new one from suzuki under warranty? does it covered under warrenty ?
because if i want a genune suzuki cable then the outer cable as well need to be changed and that will cost more
I will ask the service center to check the disc once, but i doubt the warranty part, i just remembered something, an activa banged into my bike once, i was on the main road, activa came from the side road and banged into my bike, i think the front mud guard might have hit the disc and bent it a little, there was a small scratch on the front forks near the disc area too.

But i rode 30km today, i got used to riding with a little less responsive disc, the squeaky sound is gone completely so i'm happy.

Btw, i'm pretty sure clutch cable wont come under warranty, you could try reading the manual, they usually mention parts that undergo regular wear and tear are not part of warranty.

I guess no one notice the pic of my bike 2 pages ago, http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/585763-post10150.html
I removed the saree guard, what do you think, i felt the bike looks nice and sporty without it.

The Night Breaker is 55/60 watts German bulb. For Lucifer worshippers like me, it is not difficult to get the image of a Night Breakers light because it is made in Germany, the Hitler’s country. Hence, the question about the bikes ownership is irrelevant.
Compare the light of the stock bulb with these and if you are satisfied, this bulb is easily available in car accessory shops. The cost, as I said earlier, is around 800/- but it is much better than the Silverstar.

          Hi Vishnu,

Nice to see those powerful lamps. Hope you are not one of those High Beam Hangouts, riding always on high beams!! Btw, can you kindly post a pic of the lights from the front(facing the lamps). I see a very bright zone to the immediate left and right of the bike. So how is your reflector coping up with the heat of 55W when it is designed to take only 35W?

                The reflector is OK.
I have used the bulb for hours in the night without any problem. But I am doubtful about its result. Please note that the surrounding was completly dark - without any other light - when the photo was taken. Usual travelling condition is different.

our GS default setup and headlamp is good at pitch dark, but it failed miserable while on low light (especially while driving with in city limits)

The small crack is because some girl in a scooty banged into my bike once, it as very minor and no one fell, i didnt notice that the mudguard had cracked till a week after the incident.
Anyway, the svc people said its just a small thing, why change the mudguard for that etc etc (i'm sure they didnt have stock) so left it like that only.

I just use the bike for going to college and roaming around so i guess its ok, and no one has tried sitting sideways on my bike till now,so it wouldn't matter i guess.

Btw, the squeaky noise in my disc came back 2 days after cleaning the pads, guess i have to go to svc and do something about the disc, no other option left. hope it comes under warranty, hope my bike is still under warranty after missing last 2 services.

You can ask them to change it again, no prob. but they will only give you a tank with the colour which your bike has currently.

I dont think the warranty has any scope for extra modifications of our own.

If you dont want to claim a new tank you can try putting coconut oil on the mouth (just a thin layer, dont let it drip and mix with petrol), i know its not advisable but i did it and my 3rd tank isnt showing any sign of rusting after that.

Hmmm if everyone wants mileage only roads would be filled with discover 100 and NANO

You looked out for comfort and performance that's the reason you are a Gspians now.

Even the manual says varry speed don't drive at constant speed.

I would never hesitant to tell this brother any vehicle it may be the mileage depends on several criteria and few of which are not in our control.

                                1. Environment, road condition, traffic condition, wind direction, temperature do affect the mileage.

                                2. The way you drive, your weight, pillon weight also affects the mileage.

Remember when you go for service next time make sure that half baked engineer is not touching your vehicle.

Do modify the bike but don't kill its beauty,
Do modify your bike but remember to make sure the modification make sense (useful).

Some manufacturers frequently keep on upgrading / updating the product because they feel their product is still incomplete and needs improvement

Suzuki, yamaha and honda are complete good built quality product makers so no major modification needs to be done.

The reason for purchasing your GSR and now you want to do some other reason that needs the bike to perform something which can't be done with default specs then go ahead and consult someone like JOEL and do it according to your wish.

And do tempt us with the photos
Sarcasm is my automatic response to stupidity
