Immediately go to the dealer’s shop and wait for some customers presence, meet the manager or whoever is in charge of the sales and tell him some ‘good‘ words which he will not forget in his entire life. Show him the saree guard too and threaten him to meet in consumer court. If you are very young, try to get some friends or your guardian with you. He must be taught a good lesson. Never take it as a silly matter. The buyer – the money spending party – is the king; not the seller who gets profit.

Assure that some costumers are present in the shop.

If you like to move further, you can approach the consumer court. Your sister’s witness is enough and more there as the consumer courts are always in the favour of the consumer.

The gear change will be O K soon. It is a problem of practice. Take it easy.

No need to be ashamed or disappointed as it was not your mistake and do according to this advice, today itself. After that go to the workshop and try to meet the supervisor and the mechanic who fitted the saree guard in the same way. The management will do the balance whatever is necessary.

        All the best.

Yes. In addition, the problem of our bike's head light is not the bulb's wattage; it is the reflector, which does not focus the light. That is why a higher wattage bulb cannot give satisfactory result, even after necessary modifications.

Didn’t you meet the advocate? If not, do it at the earliest possible.

If the notice is through an advocate, the cash bill given to you at the time of purchase of the bike and the user’s manual with records of servicing is enough.

Don't bother about the records. First of all send the notice.

Who is responsible for this kind of malpractices? Without any doubt, the customer who walks away without any reaction on hearing this kind of nonsense excuses. We do not make the congestion. They are occupying small room for their profit. Why didn’t you demand the replacement of scratched parts? Demand it immedietly. That is your right; not a favour from the dealer.

              Anup.

If you don’t mind, isn’t this ‘Hey man’ a bit inappropriate, especially when it is not meant to your subordinates? As it isn’t meant to me but psr, please excuse me, if this doubt too is inappropriate. I express this doubt because psr is older than you, and at least in that sense, senior to you. Pardon me if you think it is none of my business.

The other ideas of yours in this sentence are exactly same as of mine and so I too happily agree with you.

well said thats the right way to go

i believe saree guard comes as a factory fit in GS so they cant call it as accessory and you didn't paid separately for the saree guard that itself proves its part of the vehicle

and this is not fun as we cant compromise with fault on government recommended mandatory security things

the reflectors spreads the lights while on low beam instead of focusing it towards the driving direction

but it focuses good at high beam for that benefit we cant use it for all time

                  Anup,

The odometer reading will not be a problem for some days if you have the original cash receipt and insurance policy with you.

The registration done in the same day in your state may be temporary registration. It is difficult to get the vehicle registered in the same day itself in the RTO, in any state in India. But it is true about the insurance. No dealer will, in normal case deliver the vehicle without proper insurance.

It took about one month to get my original RC but a temporary RC and original tax receipt was given to me earlier.

May be correct about the insurance. In my case, the cost of the bike was paid in the morning, at about 9.30. This bike together with some other Zueses and Accent scooters where carried to the RTO and insurance agency and was delivered after 3 pm, together with original insurance policy, tax receipt (I am not sure whether it was original or not) and a temporary registration certificate. They telephoned the registration number in the evening of the next day but I waited for a few more days to confirm the number before making the number plate.

But, the insurance companies will never agree to take over the responsibility to pay the damages of a vehicle which is not already insured. No dealer can be able to do any adjustments. Further, it is strictly prohibited to deliver any vehicle without insurance and registration.

Vishnu....in bangalore there is nothing called temporary registration....we book the bike today....we get the delivery tomorrow...with the permanent registration....no hassles...we get the RC book 3-4 days later....

At present I stay here in Hyderabad...and here they have a temporary registration.....which runs in months....and here there is no restriction on the odometer...I have already run more than 350 kms.....
Some people here even after the registration also do not bother to put the permanent number on the bike....the bike runs for years together.....on the temporary reg....

PS: Vishnu..... Just for curiosity...I know its none of my business....but we do care about your health....so the question....Don't you sleep at night....????

                        • Thanks Bro

                          @ Vishnu

Thanks for pointing my mistake. I don't know if psr is older than me or not, once I heard him saying as English Literature student. Thinking he is of same age it just slipped, please pardon for my mistake. I respect elders and do call everyone with honorifics.

But I'm being forced to change after entering Corporate world . All the employees in my company are elder to me at least a 10 years and still they insist to call by name even the CEO.

About the registration, I got register number after two days and got the Registration Certificate after a month.

                            Guru,

Strange. If he hits someone and escapes, what can the victim do? No way to trace him.

Some days are like this - sleepless. I don't think that you have no right to ask about it. Thanks.

There are atleast 4-5 bikes in my office here which are atleast 3 years old and they still have the yellow stciker of the temporary reg. Hyd is like that man....highest number of accidents....and the least road sense....

We hope you do not have more sleepless nights....we certainly care about your health.....so take care....

The next one is a corporate management trick. By calling name, you are getting a feeling of being equal, and get a spirit to work hard. You think you are an inevitable part of the company.

One of this corporate management gave an order to type “I” (used to denote oneself) in small “i’ to assure you that you have no significant existence or you are not a human being, but a slave or worm. This happened not in the British rule but in the recent time and is going on.

The company is ready to give you 1 lakh rupees pm, if you can make a benefit of 10 lakh or more. You cannot? OK; you can go. The identity card is bought back and your details are deleted from the computer. No records are left to prove that you have worked there, in the equal status of the CEO.

This equality is the product of modern management. It is fake; not real.

We are living in a peculiar world. You are very young - 22 or 23. Time will teach you a lot.

E&C is one of the most sought branches having a lot of scope. Why cannot seek a job in Govt. sector or public undertakings? There is a High court judgment to consider E&C and E&E equal.
