If it comes to wheel lockup, Not only GS, not only all bikes and their is no exceptions for scooters, and four wheelers

The only exception here is a vehicle equiped with Anti locking breaking system(ABS) will comeover this issue

Example apache 180 ABS and honda CB250R with ABS

Check in you tube you can find many videos where even cars skid due to wheel locking.

And you know the bike that always throws away the driver if wheel gets locked

That's the reason dazzler's back wheel disk breaks are equiped with lesser bitting (breaking) force.

    • You are right-try using only the rear brake at a speed of 40 or above on an R15-you will be surprised to see the wheel lock up.
After that, try using the front brake&the rear only to support the front (right way of braking)&feel the difference!
Which is why suggested braking is 70% front and 30% rear.

              • I've become late to change my oil. Last and first oil change was when ODO was 1.4k and today its at 4.2k and I'm changing the oil to Motul Mineral but not sure as to which should I buy in this cool monsoon weather 20W40 or 20W50? And yesterday I opened the Air Filter and it was so clean but in the manual it is recommended to change it now.. Should I also change it along with Engine Oil and Filter ?

                • yes you can but "xx W 50" has its own demerits; but you can use it refer the manual and proceed as per.

Make sure to use a oil that exceeds or meet "JASO MA2" standerds

I haven't changed air fillter at that kms / 3rd service

Engine oil filter is not costly but that doesn't mean you need to change it everytime.

So the showroom guy is bluffing that no free items are given. except for bike cover all things you mentioned were given free to me.

Just go to SVC and ask them to clean. if it is not satisfy after cleaning then ask for replacement. If the SVC is not responding properly then log a complaint in Suzuki website.

Hey, the number plates come free with the bike. Do not pay extra for it.
Side stand, main stand, mirrors, saree guard, number plates are standard with the bike, and not considered as accessories.
The other things like buzzer, handle grip, if you can convince your dealer to give it free, then you might get it free, but they are not provided by suzuki so it varies from dealer to dealer.

Buddy, the freebies you are referring to, buzzer, teflon coat, tank covers and seat covers, handle grip, they are completely dependent on the showroom and not suzuki. Some dealers give they above items free to advertise and make customers happy, so that they can get more sales.
