Was shocked since my baby was just 2 weeks old... then I scolded him for not following the traffic rules and then I headed to SVC to consult whether this can be removed..
Surprisingly the scratch came off effortlessly and then we realized that there was no scratch but actually paint from that Fazer
Now my GS sticker is all good but there is some scratch on the silencer and a small one on the real tail lamp

So just wanted to know whether the silencer can be painted to cover up the scratch?
Although the scratch on the tail is not noticeable just wanted to know how much that costs..
Anyway happy that my bike is good but sad that now its not scratchless..

ODO reads 650 and I will give my bike for first servicing when it reads 750,
one small thing I noticed twice is that whenever my ride for say 1 / 1.5 hr in a very busy bangalore traffic(distance covered would be around 20-25 km the engine will be very hot by then), I am not able to put first gear properly.It simply refuses to get into first gear and stays on neutral (and because of this I had to take some earfulls from the fellow riders
).
After some noticeable effort/pressure applied on the gear(in contrary to the buttersmooth gear box of GS) I was able to put it in 1st gear and go on...This happened twice in the similar driving situations.
This doesn't happen with any other gears .I guess this happens only when the bike is hot and has been running for more than 20 kms..
So is it my imagination or something fishy here??

Bike is Good but serious problems with the seat. Where will I be able to get the covers for the seat. any 1 staying in and around Borivali to Andheri can plz suggest some good shops for seat covers. or seat makers for that matter.

went to a serene place today..........was driving sanely at nearly 60kmph.....dont know how i controlled myself.....(with a safed vardi cop tailing me on his bullet and just waiting for me to break any rule, but i just didnt give up
and got a compliment from him too for wearing riding gears).....while returning though i did let myself go insane.....
the only problem i faced was after the stint was even a slight unlevelling on road gave some jerks.....the suspension level is set in the middle and even the gas level was checked and new front fork oil was fed to her during last serivce which happened two weeks ago.....and also theres a loud thud sound if i pull the clutch and downshift from 2nd to 1st on a slope......

Even i get a loud thud noise when i downshift from 2nd to 1st...I have noticed other bikers turning back at me when the sound occurs.
Its so load as if the hitting a empty aluminium box.

Even I came accross such sittuation and even now rarely it happens for me.
Following two are the reasons I found for that in my GS
1. Cluch setting is not correct if the thud noise is happening so much frequently.
2 even now it occurs in my GS occationally if I change gears on half clutch.
If this occurs frequently and gear changing is hard (for above 2000 kms GS) need to grease or oil the gear changing leaver

Am using valvoline champ oil for the past 380 kms its smooth and good,
Next time I was planning to try the castrol power 1 semi synth anyone tried it recently as the new varient exceeds JASO MA2 standard
My bike is now 10500 kms old.
Engine sound is good and silent on most times.
I have driven it with heavy load and even 30 kms trips yeah engine gets hotter, earlier if my engine gets hotter it's response is bit rough, but now its getting smoother day by day.
Looking for a good fuel supply lock for saftey (to get ride of petrol thiefs) guys do let me know if something like electronic device or key based locks suits our GS

MSN i had gone to SVC ther a person had put petrol lock of an FZ but there he was complaining about mileage issues. So i asked the in charge there MR. Tawale he said" that as it is not from the company it is not designed to be efficient with our BAbe the flow of fuel is different so calculating mileage is difficult & he said that putting FZ lock could cause mileage issues ! so i didnt do it !Originally posted by MSN1 View Post

Hi Madhu I am using Castrol Power1 Semi ..But in the bottle i searched(went shop again after u convey it is JasO MA2...But i can't read it ....But anyway I happy with with oil except The Thud thud sound in 1 or 2nd gear may be due to clutch adjustment u told ...I hope my mileage is around 47KMPL under daily riding of 10km only...AND I AM ALWAYS IN FULLTANKOriginally posted by MSN1 View Post

....Hit reserve from brim at 900km at trip from 000 in full(but not exact brim level as petrol bunk walla loose their cool for filling this monster tank
) someone recommend me to carry a 5 liter can so i can fill exact brim level at home 
I think petrol lock for GS is complicated one we have to modify it....Once on my old Pulsar when i put a petrol lock...its started to leak
and Pulsar SVC revert back to OEM....
Long back while doing college in bangalore this petrol lock saved my KB100 RTZ Delta from bike thief ....They stole my bike at 5am with master key(ignition ) but not able to open the petrol lock so the bike stopped in midway and they pushing it thru a river near my friend house at around 6.30am...My friend was brushing outside and after seen that he shouted so they dropped my bike in River and escape..(Still i have that master key
)...
After bring the bike to home thru my friend the bike refuse to start as lot of mud inside the silencer anyway after trying hard ..it started with vomiting the mud

from defuser silencer...
Very very lucky bike i bought it for 20000Rs at 4000km only on odo(2nd hand) and sold it same price at 55000km on odo
after 3 years...

same thing happen to me last year here instead car it was a TATA ACE and instead Fazer it was New Pulsar 150

I fell in the bridge side ....the pulsar guy asked me why u press brake hard





....Before i get up aand crowds come he run away from the scene
....My bike saree guard bent and a scratch near left indicator..But nothing to me

Overheard a conversation between the dealer and his engineers while getting my bike serviced....
Though I was not allowed in the service area but somehow managed to sneak in after telling the security that some more work needs to be done....
