GT650R to Rajmachi? You'd need balls of steel for that!

    • I was removing the cloth to clean the bike and accidently touched the spark plug wire, I got a mild shock ! Is the spark plug wire supposed to produce mild electric shock ?

P.S. My wire was removed by some1 at night few weeks back and I just put it in screwed it up..

            • Sunday evening long night ride and Superbikes.

My upgraded GS150R is holding a true lineage of what my Suzuki Shogun stood for, it is setting blistering movements, scaring people and earning praises.

Was lazily going to sleep in the afternoon(3 o clock) when one of my friend's called up for a 170km+170km trip.

Well I suddenly jumped up and went off.

My friend rode a Karizma and we were later joined by two Hayabusas and a R1 in unison.

The performance which my GS150R showed on highway left me bewildered and the Superbikers praised and two Pulsar 180 and 220 riders scared. The ZMA guy went crazy.

My GS150R did a very quick 120kmph only slower to the Superbikes and then climbed to 125 kmph accelerating close to 10,000rpms in 6th gear. And this happened on a flat road amid a handsome dose of crosswind and drag.

Few of my friends did not believe their own eyes and test rode themselves, and it scared the non SBK owners...........they termed my bike a madness,an insanity and with a brake set-up of a general 150cc.......its a high revving guilotine.Well I use the brakes well, but everyone expects a rear disk.

While SBK owners who owns Suzuki vehicles........termed the GS150R as an apt product from Suzuki which can take such high mods and remain even more refined than refinement itself.

I love my this bike and now its making me proud............each penny I invested in it shows itself with pride.

Oh and I forgot how helpful was that Philips 4300K HID unit.............I rode more rashly on a truck and four-wheeler laden National Highway at night than I rode in the afternoon and reached home at 21.30 hrs at night, with full of confidence and joy and mirth.

Respect to you Suzuki GS150R............you are more than you seem........never letting down is one thing, but making proud is another

P.S. but I have no pics from the ride as it was just a sudden, get up and go ride, haven't recharged the battery of my camera

I too used to give my bike for servicing at ulhasnagar. But that place is too crowded now-a-days. So now i am giving it in dombivli where it is not too crowded.

                  • I am Next who converted my GS to Full DC

                    Hello Friends
                    1. Today i with the help of one TVS mechanic, both of us converted the beast to Full DC with HID also

                    2. The only change we made was Stock RR was replaced with FZ RR unit.

Note: The first two image shows the brightness of the HID and the next image shows the Stock Coil with no extra winding or rewinding made

                      Congratz...........

It is nice to find people finally doing away with their lighting problems.......
So what is the specification of the HID you are using ????

But if you haven't done coil rewinding and only connected head lamp to battery via FZ Rectifier.......I have reasons enough to doubt the reliability.

I had access to this easy way before but I wanted something that can blow two Hyundai i10 horns, along with a 4300K Philips BiXenon unit and also power up an electric compressor which boosts stock power over almost 50%.
And that too while riding for hours on highway with every single electric utility of the Bike on

I hope you have kept the stock RR and bulb with you as you will need it in the near future to revert to the stock lighting. Yes i have that with me, but that mech. guy said FZ RR is capable upto 9A and i think it works

The beam seems to be reaching the top of tree. Adjust it to a lower level. (Page 6-52 of the user’s manual). yea today night i will do that

As you are not rewinding the coil, what was the need of opening the magneto cover? We took an extra line from the stock coil so it is necessary to open it i am sorry i forgot to take a snap of it

                            • suzuki gs150r

                              hello people

i have finally decided to buy suzuki GS150R as my first bike. I test rode pulsars ,avenger and cbzextreme and GS150R and i found the handling of GS150R the most easy of them even after being bukiest candidate...

didnt go for Yamaha as i am not very keen on sporty look...and didnot checked Unicorn because of waiting period of 3 months in bangalore

is there any other bike i should test ride before jumping... bit edgy as it is the first bike

btw i spoke with the Apple autoa gency (btm layout) and they said it is readily available and can be handed over same day. i thought there was some stuff required to deliver as most dealers say next day.

does anyone have bought a bike from them..can you share the experince ? what all can i get included in complementry accessories from them and what all should i check before taking the delivey of bike.(any tunin any thing i should ask specifically)

also one off track Q.... does dealer get the bike registered at RTO or do i have to go there..they do speak about RC smartcard ..

                              thanks
