What you have heard is not true at all. Self experience: Riding a shiny orange GS for more than two years! Depends on how you maintain it and how much time it spends in Sun.Originally posted by dhruv5588 View Post3. Orange (looks best from all available colour but I think it won't suit me and not good as I heard that it fades easily and minor scratches also looks very bad)

Hi msb its not a pulsar or GS150r...Originally posted by msb View Posthi guys, found this image on facebook page of cnbshow. The person who posted asked "is this the new 2012 pulsars??" any idea about this ??
If you watch the above pic closely there is a name written as kavir on the tank...
Kavir motors is a motorcyle producer and importer in Iran...
The above bike might be available for iran not for us...
Some stupid guys are surfacing wrong info with the name pulsar , so don't believe this fraudent news....Last edited by Nagamani; 11-27-2011, 08:35 PM.If you ride like there's no tomorrow there won't be...

Headlight assembly (reflector + lens) + its bracket costs just above Rs. 1600/- and they will return the old parts if not a free replacement.

I too support it. Mine is about 1 year 8 months old and in good condition. Proper washing and waxing and parking in shade are the decisive factors.

It is the stock reflector and Osram NB bulb. I was checking the voltage from the RR in various rpms. The voltage from the RR and hence the reading across the battery varies slightly at different RPM and it is normal.
Done a 100 km ride yesterday through a rain ruined road in lower rpms with switched on headlight. Now I am almost (about 95%) sure about the success of the DC conversion.

All the best. You will not have to repent later for selecting this bike. Buy a good car shampoo (preferably ArmorAll Wash & Wax) and Collinite 845 car wax for washing and waxing.

The dealer would be applying teflon coating on bike... Ill ask him to use ArmorAll Wash & Wax for washing waxing, but how about WAXPOL Car shampoo?
Any tips while taking delivery?___________________________________________

Some of the service centers
While taking delivery, look for any scratches or dents on the bike. Do not accept those parts even if they promise to replace the damaged parts, if any, later as the replacement becomes your burden then; not theirs.
Check the headlight beam and get it adjusted because in many the new bikes it is pointing upward.
