    • Head lamp of GS

      Hi experts !!!

1 thing I observed in GS is, Head lamp cluster looks disproportionate with the over all look of the bike . What you guys think... It could have been better right?

I was thinking to fit head lamp cluster of GSR750 to it ....Is it possible ?any thoughts ?

      regards

Probably a leak from the fuel cock or the fuel pipe. Get it checked at the service centre as the parts, if needed, is available there.

If the fuel cock is faulty and the bike is still under warranty, ask for a free replacement.

Suzuki to roll in white coloured GSR 150s in a few months...dealer in mangalore has confirmed it...i've seen a custom white painted Gsr in my city which looked ugly. will see how this factory painted Gsr will look..Apache white is brilliant to the eyes.

              • Got my GS150R yesterday.
                I already completed 150km before 24 hours
Drove around 55 kmph, not above 60kmph. around 4000 rpm.
                Is that good?

Any precaution to take in initial 2000 kms?
                High Hopes......

                    Congrats dhruv,

yes ur right drive but don't overdrive during run-in and do control your expectation performance from GS until run-in is done

just follow the manual that will do good...

in case of doubt/ problem post here, and pray to god with in few hours vishnu will appear here with a probable best solution for you

Congratulations Dhruv and as Maghu said, keep the things under control(4.5k rpm) and you are good to go

                      @All,

Encountered a new phenomenon from few days,
Whenever I try to crank up my bike using self starter, if I engage clutch to the fullest and try starting it, it somehow doesn't come alive.
But if i release the clutch slightly and give it a try then no issues.

So is this an issue or characteristic of our bike
It doesn't behavior this way all the time but yes most of the time..

Also finally on its own that "Clunk" noise from the gear lever got rectified from past 3 days(touchwood)

Yes, technologically, the gs150r has lots inside. But looks wise, seems like suzuki were targeting pulsar and thought that making it bigger than pulsar will lead to bigger sales. Not just the headlight, even that tank seems a bit oversized for a 150cc, but the design of the tank is good though
