Yes friend I'm gonna do... I request you to point out the steps to be followed and the materials required (detailed description & no abbrevations)...
Indeed it will be very very helpful for the starters like me...
If it's possible to add it to the 1st page with the help of MODERATORS it'll be very much useful for everybody who wants to do DC conversion..

Things I've right now..,soldering lead, flux, high amp wire, heat shrink,8mm T spanner, allen key set, 17mm socket spanner & lever,

Things I want to know ,
          1) DMM
          2) 2-3 small wooden wedges (why required)
          3) How to open the magneto cover
          4) Should I need to get stator coil from SUZUKI?

          Thanks & Regards,

I think our GS 150R is way sexier than this
It looks very blunt ....(Disclaimer:Personal opinion only)
And the console on our GS is one of the best looking in 150 cc category
And I believe other technical specs are same?

I think a gs150r with round headlight would look cool. The rest of the looks are cooler on the 'r' than the 'i' though, especially the tail lamps.

But i think GSR150i looks way better than GS150R. I like this type of looks. It looks macho and give feeling of harley davidson. Every 150cc in India has got looks like GS150r or pulsar.

Regarding console, you look at cbz xtreme and apache.

Did I say "only the Best" or 'One of the best".. Anyhow I liked GS's console over others..Its an individual's preference..

DMM means digital multimeter and wooden wedges are helpful to remove the stator cover by inserting it in the small gap you get at the initial point of removing it.
Opening the magneto cover is after collecting the essential materials. Price of a 12 pole stator is Rs. 845/- and additional one is not necessary.

Not sure about the appearance but a round headlight reflector gives more focused light.

                      • Couldn't able to get RR & Gaskets today... Both are out of stock..
I checked at only one showroom. Will try at other showrooms tomorrow..

For the auto spare parts we've a separate area called Chintadripet in Chennai where all the spares are available.. Their I could find RR for APE which is just 320rs..
They are saying it's original., But I refused to take them and asked them to give the one which comes in sealed package with Piaggio name mentioned..

It was already 5pm and searching for the main dealers will take more time so just bought the copper wire & varnish and headed back to home...

Bought the 18swg wire of 500gms and insulating varnish of 225gms for 300 & 45rs respectively...

Ape’s original RR costs Rs. 1164/-. They offered you a duplicate RR, like made as (not in) USA. Try next time at Piaggio’s SC.
500 gms of wire is too much than needed.
