    • Thanks buddy, the looks seem stunning, though I still like the metallic gray I already have.

      About the specifications like changed gear ratios, pickup, vibrations and roaring sound, I'll go for a test drive tomorrow, so thanks for the info since I just knew about the changed looks and not about the performance improvement.

              Its simple logic you can verify.There is a heat shield over the exhaust fixed by two screws, when we swith off the engine both shield and exhaust starts to loose their heat but with different rate that means they loose their length also(simple physics rule) since this is with different rate so there is a tick tick sound from the heat shield cover screws.

                  • 35/35w to 60/55w

                    Today did another mod to my bike..
                    Changed the 35/35w headlamp to OSRAM BILUX H4 60/55w Halogen.
                    Amazing result with the stock reflector. Beam & Focus are pretty good compared with the Halonix H1.
                    But looks like it'll be heavy on battery, though I'd changed the bulbs of number plate, two pilot lamps to LED ,it'll reduce some load on battery.. Planning to do the RR MOD soon to continue this setup...

                    Friends, any tips & suggestions?

                    • You need not change the number plate light as its directly on battery.....only the pilot bulbs replacement will help you increase the wattage.....and only rr mod is not sufficient....you will need to convert the bike to full dc....scroll few hundred pages back and get the details....

                        Yeah I've read yours,Dr.Arul(Firegun) and Vishnu bhai's post regarding the DC setup..
                        But I doubt that is it necessary to convert to Full DC.. If I change the RR setup alone won't it be enough... Y b'cos if we change the coil, current or voltage will increase, which will result in increased power to run more load..
                        Am I right? Please correct me......

                          Only RR wont be able to do that.....yes the coil rewinding would make so much power so as to sustain 110w of bulbs.....


                          check out the difference after the coil rewinding.....
                          its the osram nightbreaker...after dc conversion.......

                          as you can see the pass light is giving the kind of light required for high speed night rides......so is it advisable to use the pass light continously....(i can just put a cellotape around and not bother my fingers)

                            Right now, below 2k rpm headlight is not getting full supply and it's dim..

                            Will do Full DC soon after changing the RR & Coil or all at a time...

                              that was the reason i did the conversion.....and i dont use upper in city limits....its only for highways and for those who try to blind me, I just put my upper on and stand in front of them......and then politely tell them to use dipper!!!!!

                              And hopefully i will be in Mysore for 6 months from next week or maybe next month......and no probs....you can disturb me anytime!!!!
