  • @ kishore, take care,

First take rest and correct all repairs and dents of yours,

We have many good mechanics and painters in bangalore you just need to search slowly to engage the right guy for the right job.

Scratches on plastic parts can be covered with stickers, rest of the metal parts painting need to be done perfectly.

      • Telescopic HID

        Hello Friends,
Today i went to a two wheeler Auto spares shop there they show me a new telescopic HID (skoda type)
        costs about Rs 3000/-
        here is pictures below

        Additional Features
        1. Bulit-in Dim Bright mode
        2. Blue color ring light with low power Red color LED light with individual control switch

        My Observations:
Brightness of HID is Superb in both Dimm as well as Bright, i dont like that low power Red color LED in a head lamp, but the blue color outer Ring type is fine

Tomorrow i will try to post some pictures of the Light Rays

Hey thx a lot. I had a doubt about that. Well am staying in the south part of B'lore. Am having a nightmares with the svc guys. No matter how i quarrel with them or complain them nothing goes into notice. None of my problems are rectified. So i would like to know which showroom in the southern part of B'lore offers good service??

Here, I think the culprit is not the tires, but the inability to control the bike and keep it upright while braking.
If there are scratches on the headlight lens and are not very deep, get it buffed at a lathe shop. The scratches on the headlight cowl are not removable. So, either replace it or hide the scratches with stickers.
              And, repaint the crash guard.
The no claim bonus we get from the insurance company is only a few rupees. Claiming insurance was more profitable.
Thx for the condolences..As you have mentioned the ability to control the bike and keep it upright while braking is really a daunting task. I guess all because of the bike size & hefty body. Mine is first version of Gs where the geometry is bit different to the newer version. May be i'll have to be more cautious while braking next time..Well as far as headlight cowl is concerned am planning to replace it instead of applying stickers. As i feel it rather looks ugly with stickers.

During my first one year with GS I haven't find any major issues with the bike, but definetly uinhappy with the service,

So last 5 months my GS is good at local mechanic service.

Last two months I haven't service or even not washed keenly as my dad gone sick died and now at chennai for performing the 30th day remembrance.

I got a good mechanic so going by him but if you spent some more time with SVC then it works well.

If delivery time is 5 pm I used to visit SVC at 3 pm and make sure all my complaints are addressed
Try airport road suzuki or K H road
                Or DR. Rajkumar road

I too am using the 2009 batch (manufactured in 12/09 and purchased on 27/1/2010) bike and the only difference with later versions is in the color and graphics. Light modifications in the engine and other parts are, as in the case of any other bike, made in almost all the newer batches but the size, weight etc. remains the same.

The price of the headlight cowl is more than 1200 and the headlight assembly costs almost the same. That is why I said it was better to claim insurance.

In future, instead of quarrelling with the mechanics, try to contact the engineer in the service centre and explain the problems, ask him to test ride your bike and do whatever he suggests.

Sure i'll. But couple of my friends have already purchased n I can find the difference between them. I mean overall mass of the body is different but the body weight remains same n also the ergonomics are bit different!!

I own an Apache RTR ABS and trust me it rules the roads... Best pick up and handling, Sheer Braking Pleasure and comfortable too.... Only Prob is the price.... Got it for 92k
