The best place is car accessory shops, if not try waxpol automobile wax polish which is available at almost all automobile spare shops.

    @ all

Yesterday switched to 15 W 50 motul oil,

Done 50 kms bike performance is at its best., sleek gear shifting, morning start is just a single kick or button press.

    Engine note is so silent.

My GS is 11 k old now

The shampoos and waxes are available in car accessory shops as Madhu said. Be sure that you are getting genuine products.

I have used Formula 1 for a long period of time but changed to ArmorAll because of the difficulty in getting original Formula 1 shampoo and wax. Both are equally good and worked fine for me.

      • Hello Friends
My GS back tyre was remounted by a local puncture shop guy (as in the picture)Now the arrow shows in right direction and again thanks Vishnu

My GS ODO clocked 1467Km(after 16 Days of delivery) and now i change the oil to Agip 20w-40, i think my GS feels better than the SVC OIL, will report about this later, may be after 200km more

so, guys is this normal in our GS or some thing wrong in my GS only
          please i need your help
Tyres mounted in reverse direction. Unbelievable. That shows how well bikes are assembled at suzuki plant and the kind of quality checks they have. Lets us hope it occurred at the dealer and not at the suzuki plant. I have seen two pulsars with the same problem on the front tyre. But i did not expect such callousness from suzuki.

Can't say anything on this because "Suzuki is the company that doesn't believe in marketing / advertising their existing products, and at the same time they are not the company that creates hype before releasing a new product"

the one thing am sure what ever the suzuki product in market is good and we can expect the same or better quality in their upcoming products

so in one line "Buying the existing GS150R is a good option, and waiting for the next release is also not a bad option"

              hope my reply you

Going by dealer's words are always not reliable, earlier my dealer millers road suzuki - bangalore said new one would be out during march of 2011

                • Is there anyone who faces problem with chain?? My bike's chain is getting loose after approx 300km of running it was never like this till 5500km on ODO. but post 3rd service @5500 km i am facing this issue
I am concerned about this cos:
                  - every 10 days i have to tighten this chain
                  - mileage has negative effect
                  - power delivery affected
                  - every time i go over a speed breaker or rough patch of road chain hits cover and makes noise.
anything that can go wrong will surely go wrong at the wrong time and the wrong place

But as all knew tyre is mounded in Suzuki Plant itself, one thing is that dealer should cross checked this things before the delivery(so called BDI)

The thing is I alrdy own a GS
n I feel a little awkward to have two bikes of same model n make at my parking space

I need a bike with qualities as close to gs as possible in terms of engine refinement, vibration less ride, decent mileage n low maintenance..

Unicorn's waiting period is 6 months..
So Im looking at the dazzzler n the new xtreme..

but both bikes doesnt hav a kick start n dazzler comes with open chain as well..so its really hard for me to decide which bike to go for..

I personally didnt like the sporty seating position..plus the mileage factor as well made me not to go for the fz..

The following are my requiremnts in order of priority

1.vibration free n well refined engine (fell in love with GS's ride quality ;P)
                              2.low maintenance
                              3.decent mileage

which bike do you suggest i should go for??
