Should the tighten the chain or loosen? And how to tighten the clutch ?Originally posted by Maestro View PostThe chain is the culprit here!!!
EDIT: And also the loose clutch...
Cold RPM is at 1k rpm and hot RPM at 1100 RPM. Is this because of Loose clutch ?Originally posted by MACH50 View PostLow Idle rpm or loose clutch play might be causing this.

So this could be the culpritOriginally posted by gs150r View PostShould the tighten the chain or loosen? And how to tighten the clutch ?

AFAIK the warm/hot RPM should be around ~1400 (<1600)..
Your cold RPM is fine.
Please check that as well

your bike's hot rpm is too low.....By the way i didnt get one thing.....cold rpm 1k and hot rpm 1.1k......these are not good signs....
check the clutch adjustment.....it should have a play of few mm's.....

Did you get a puncture repaired recently? An improperly placed tube can cause wobbling. A part of the tube may be stuck in between the tyre edge and rim edge. Also, if tube neck is not aligned properly with the rim hole, it could cause folds/deformity in tube causing wobbling.Originally posted by firegun View PostHello friends i am facing the first issue with my GS-Front tire wobbling
Anyhow service manager assured that it will be replaced under warranty
for that i have to leave my GS in the SVC for a week because they dont have GS front tire so service manager told me that he will send my GS front tire for an inspection then they(MRF chennai) will give a replacement.
For this process it will take one week as the service manager said
,
Guys is this normal or do i need to search for some other way because i dont like to leave my GS with them for a week. please need your suggestion

However carefully we remove the old oil, a part of it is left inside the engine resulting mixing of oils.
The company recommends oil filter change in every 8000 kms but almost all of us are changing it at the time of each oil change.
No special effort is needed to change it and it costs Rs. 35/- only. Now decide yourself.

the oil level is slightly above the low level...so i have to change the oil ASAP.....
So theres no harm if i dont change the oil filter at the moment(changing from 20W40 to 10W40)....?

Do change the filter together with the oil if it is available with you. If not, retain the old one. This retaining may not be harmful in any way.
