    Smooth as butter!!!!!

    must say guys..it is the smoothest beast out there. I mean cmon , i have to keep checking to see if the engine is on or not sometimes it is that smooth. and comfort wise amazing so far. Just drove 10 km through big traffic jams and am not feeling a thing. Just my palms hurt a bit as i think i was holding on too tight!! but other than that...amazing....

      You are doing a MRI scanning and whole body scanning of your bike as a result of your post purchase axiety, which is absolutly unnecessary. Whatever you describe as issues are common in all GSs. I can understand your anxiety but there is nothing special in your bike as it is not specially manufactured for you.
      The shuttering you described is due to low rpm of the engine; not due to fuel vapor. If it does not make any major problems, let the rpm remain the same.
      To engage the neutral gear, disengage the clutch fully and apply a slight pressure on the lever and at the same time watch the nuetral indicator. The brake force you feel is not braking; it means that you are not disengaging the clutch properly.

      So, my suggestion is to stop the MRI/whole body scanning of the bike and let it run in the present condition up to the time of its 1st service. Read the owners manual thouroughly when you get enough lessure time. All the best.

        You agree that the bike is smooth. If it is true, there is no need to aproach the service center with unreal – imaginary – problems because they will make changes in the original settings of the bike as per your descriptions which will lead to unnecessary or unexpected results.

        HMM...well i am as worried as anyone would be about their bike mate. And whole idea of not going to the SVC directly is because i discuss issues here to find out if they are actual problems or something just i am thinking is a problem. Isn't that the whole idea of the thread, discuss about the bike?? it is a bit of relief for me that i am not the only one who has faced issues, but i really cant go back 1000 pages of discussion to see if the problem was discussed or not. hence i ask them here. Apologies if anyone is getting irritated by it.

                  1)Reserve to reserve measure to calculate mileage is preferable!
                  but initially when the bike gets on reserve how to travel from there to the petrol pump?? bcoz they dont sell it in bottles here in mumbai/thane..

                  ne ideas plz lettme noe...& thnx to all of u am sleepless cudnt wait more for the bike !! booked a bluish green one !!

                        Does any one of you have a soft copy of service manual or workshop manual of the GS150R ,which contains all part numbers of the components of the bike ???

                        I am in kinda really quick need of it !!!!
