So you want the whole deal right ????

Please do not worry, I have been provided that too,

Check this picture which shows the O-rings circular shape instead of a twisted tale of errors :
Both the O-rings for the Oil-filter chamber has been provided by Suzuki spares store :

As far as my mechanic chacha has to say........he just said that "your O-ring has worn out which has caused this severe engine oil leakage" while inspecting the marks of leak on the chamber.
Now,I trust this man very much, he was the one who made it sure that I never complain of gearshifts on my GS150R when it was new.

Very good. But that one too is a little twisted!

      • The hyosung GT650R runs on a suZuki SV650 Engine.... . Now I see that the price is justified on comparision with the kwacker. I just read it in the below link.

        • yeah actually.......and with garware now planning to use local parts hence the GT650R will even cost less.......damn...why is suzuki not getting its bike...if the engine has already reached!
          @all
whenever i ride i feel every small patch on which the bike goes.....both ways the front as well as back........so is there any fault with my suspensions???i brought my GS in Nov2009 and two months before i changed the front fork oil too....

And the Vtwin on the Comet GT250 or GT250R was also developed by Suzuki.....It was much in news when the Hyosung Comet was sold in India few years back. The erstwhile engineers of Hamamatsu plant develops engines for Hyosung GT series.

Hence whatever performance and specs one finds on a GT250,GT250R or GT650R shouts Suzuki.

Ironically it is the GT250R which takes on the mighty Ninja 250r ......the world over

              Hey, so do I.

I've felt it ever since I got the bike. Whenever I ride, I can barely make out a periodicity in the bumps but never well enough to confirm it exists. And no one else feels it. It bothers the shit out of me that I believe I have a problem that no one else can see.

I suspect small undulations in the rims through repeated running through potholes or maybe my bike got fitted with a bad batch of rims......it occured to me too that maybe something's obstructing the smooth travel of the suspension.

I have no way of diagnosing this problem when the persons whom I show it to dont sense it.

Maybe you'll have better luck. Try showing it to your local mech or SC, maybe a few friends....see if they can notice it.

Guys i have two questions to ask

1)does bike jerks slightly while changing the gears?(is it normal or there is wrong technique in gearshifts)

2)does your bike engine behave harshly/stuggles while approaching a elevated slope form a signal or from stand still.

I also felt the same as if i am riding on a bunch of tiny potholes. But its only when riding too slow may be below 12kmph. I think this is normal. It vanishes away when you start to accelerate.

Guyz, the grinding kind of feeling when i go beyond 60kmph has been solved. I went to mechanic near my house, he put bike on main stand checked the tire. The back tire was having slight movement along the horizontal line. He told me to get new sprocket bearing and sprocket rubber. Now everything is solved. !!

Now, the only issue is poor mileage , 35-38 kmpl. Will have to try optimizing using golden screw method.

A funny incident during my service at Apple auto near DG petrol pump, The person who took my complaints doesnt even know what is sprocket. I asked him to check chain sprocket whether it is torn out , he is asking me what is sprocket??? .... Helplessly, he ended up writing "chain sound" as the complaint. I was pissed off!!

In another incident at the same place, some random staffs from the showroom were taking the complaints of customers in the absense of service people. For me the cashier girl took my complaints, she had no idea about bikes!! She also gave me a shock saying she isnt responsible for scratches if any upon delivery.

Really pathetic services we are getting, Suzuki should start some dedicated service centers themselves with trained and knowledgeable people!!

                  • Pictures of 4300K HID on the full DC GS150R.

                    Hi friends,

                    Now I bring to you,
that how good is a 35W HID working on the GS150R.

First of all, after putting on the HID I found that the stock reflector system on the GS150R is in fact a blessing instead off curse.

The low somewhat inconceivable beam of the stock AC/DC setting and normal Halogen 35W do not do justice to the superb reflector that makes so much range on a powerful HID and DC set-up.

                    Here are the pics :

Without any lights on........nothing can be seen whats ahead.

                    LED pilot lamps

                    HID turned on 4300K low-beam.

                    HID turned on 4300K high-beam

The High beam from a distance.

Friend's it is amazing to find how well the reflector spreads the light over a zone, if there were no obstruction ahead.......then the spread would have been further ahead to observe. But the beam is very widespread and we can observe one corner of the road to the other while riding fast at night......its beautiful.

The pictures has been shot at my business premises in the back yard.It is really dark there with all lights turned off.

I have also recorded a video and it has more information but the the quality is non-HD(after all it is shot from a camera meant for still images).

Now its taking time to get uploaded on the Youtube, once the upload is complete, I would post it here too

You mean the slight dragging every now and then? Did you test it extensively? If so, then I'll have it checked on mine next service.

Like vishnu said, get it checked by the 100-200 ml can method. Its dawning on me that theres a lot more involved in getting proper mileage than just the golden screw. Thats been done to death on mine with no avail. Now, just asking....has the valve clearence been properly adjusted on yours in the recent service?
Ive found that its been ignored on mine for some time.

A funny incident during my service at Apple auto near DG petrol pump, The person who took my complaints doesnt even know what is sprocket. Ayyo siva, thats the usual case....those boys have no idea of the technical jargon nor are they trained for it. Ive found its better to get something written on the job sheet and approach the service manager for more detailed explanations.

In another incident at the same place, some random staffs from the showroom were taking the complaints of customers in the absense of service people. You can demand them to note down any damages prior to service in the job sheet and if any new ones appear after service, theyre responsible for it and you can make them fix it. Same for petrol level in case you suspect any thieving.

Really pathetic services we are getting, Suzuki should start some dedicated service centers themselves with trained and knowledgeable people!!
                      reply in bold.

I meant to say....I feel as if I am riding a bicycle with no shock absorbers.....hence on evn the line markings if the road I feel the jerk on handle.....and also the front weight I feel is very less.....

1:there's some problem in your gear shifting technique as for GS changing gears is just a click sound fr me....
2:in Eco mode indeed the engine behaves harshly....but in power mode it does not...(i don't want to say but I feel increment in torque...may be its just psychological....as Suzuki guys say tje modes are just for light blikning....)

With flash off, I do not know what mode can bring the clear picture out of the lens.
