No..........I am better off with a 35W component as some heavy performance(torque/hp related) upgrades are upcoming the next week, few components of that package requires electronics too.

With flash off, I do not know what mode can bring the clear picture out of the lens.

It now seems I know so less about many things other than motorcycling .
Mach, little tip for you: In your Oly camera, if you have a P or Av mode, then it will be best. See, camera stores the light that falles on its chip through a small hole, called aperture. If you use the zoom, the aperture will be small, and thus light fallen on the chip will be very less. This causes the tearing of pictures in night time. If you see the info of your photo, it will show 1600 ISO which just can't show nice pics in any time - day or night.

To compensate this less light, use Aperture priority or P mode, set ISO to 200 and Aperture to 3.5 (in Av mode). Keep the camera on a tripod or a steady surface, and keep a timer of two seconds, that is after you click the shutter, photo will be taken after two second. This will nullify any movement in camera.

And don't use any zoom in night, unless you are shooting the moon. Better to have clear photos and then crop them rather than have blurry large photos.

Hope you don't mind this gyan!

Thanks for the gyan Animeher !!!!........it is all a step of learning with understanding rather than turning through pages of owner's manual where nothing is explained clearly(they assume only pro-photographers buy their products !!!)

However,Animeher, since you too attempted DC and HID sometime back....if I recall right........what have you got to say about this development on my bike ???

Puncture repair do not cost me more than 20-25 bucks in my city.........in the 11 months of my bike's age it happened only once, last month.

Also, how can you afford the Alto and its fuel if you are not earning yourself ???

              • Hi guys.. I have always been a silent spectator at xBhp & have learnt quite a lot ! But now I'm confused..

So today I can and do change engine oil and replace filter with O ring, replace brake fluid, clean spark plug, check battery at regular intervals, lubricate my chain and all spots mentioned in owner's manual, remove my tyres and tighten them and all those which many can do..

                Here's the catch!
Today I wonder if whatever I've been doing every 1.5k KMS since last 8k KMS is not enough and not going to a mechanic for regular service is a mistake ?
What is that Extra thing mechanic can and we(not of engineering background) can't?

Senior xBhpians do sort me out with real examples :-)

P.S. I intend to use GS150R for 5-6 more years and then upgrade.

                  Good info / question brother,

To get experience doctor won't do operation on his own body

Similarly what ever we learn in class room is generic theory, and not specific to certain type of bike such as your GS150R

                  What you did was right,

By referring the manual and following the all steps mentioned there is the right practice, but many core part trouble shooting wasn't there in manual because those things are tend to be touched by a professional (here professional refers to a person experienced on trouble shooting grown up mens toys aka bikes)

Catch up with a good local mechanic give bike to service there, and also learn from him on how to trouble shoot.

My intention is not discouraging or stopping you, just trying to show you the right path (which I felt) and to make sure your learning attitude will not cost your bike.

Today I was luck enough to got a motul can as a gift from my colleague, but the reason for bring the topic here is he bought it for his pulsar as he is going abroad, he gave that to me
                  It is motul 3000 15 W 50
As per manual it won't harm.

I felt someone (believe its augustine the chennai vellor champ used it) here already used it
Please provide me your feedback about its +ve and -ve's

Wow crossed 1800 kms in 24 days.....

Either between 2000 to 2500 kms or 90 to 120 days is the average scale for changing oil.

No need to say you already keep a tab on oil in engine...

So keep it till you feel the bike is good, but don't prolong it

On gulf oil color won't change even after 2000 kms but in my case it gets thicken and I felt roughness in engine response / behaviour and gear change as well
