    • Guys, I always hear coutinous hissing kind of sound when i do long ride. I usually hear it after Ripping for long duration...Its like air leaking sound....Is this becoz of engine heat?

      • Some what rectified the vibes in my bike by replacing a fault visor nut yesterday.
The vibes are reduced but not yet completely gone.

Another thing is after the 2nd service I felt the front brake is not having the same bite as it had earlier. So asked the SVC to adjust it and the mechanic who worked on my bike told that the disk brake cannot be adjusted
Is this true.(sorry for asking this dumb question but i am new to disk brake world and i searched in google and found that disk brake can be adjusted). But he completely refused that and told it cannot be

          Is this true.

There are many reasons for this vibration but in GS, the common reason is the misaligned visor. Remove it and do a test ride.

If the bike is not vibrating without the visor, buy 4 visor nuts from the SC and replace all the 4 nuts at the same time and tighten properly. It is better to affix 3 pieces of double sided thick adhesive tape between the holes for these nuts. The nuts become twisted or worn while we tighten the bolts and cannot be used again. Cost is Rs. 10/- per nut. You can replace it yourself.

If these nuts are not available in the SC, buy Pulsar’s nuts which are equally good.

It is true that the disc brake cannot be adjusted. Your bike is new and there is no need to change the brake fluid now. Instead, wash the disc with a good car shampoo.

                Thanks VIshu,

I did rode the bike without visor and the vibes are there past 50 kmph...But with visor they are amplified.
Today I did around 100kms(with visor) around bangalore and was at the speed of around 75. Now there are considerable vibes at that speed and the intensity of it is some what half that of the 3.5k rpm's vibes So will replace all the nuts this weekend and will see whether it helps..

Also do i need to replace the whole set up (nut + rubber) ? A combined unit(1 pair) costed me 18 rs yesterday..
                Yes will wash the pads..

                @Maestro ,

Thats fantastic and eagerly waiting for the pics and the log

Sounds good and seems to be a low cost fix for many of us,

                          * GS150R front view with the new reflector,
                          * A Better photo of the head light (where it falls) with both Dim and bright
                          * and let us know what vehicle that round reflector belongs to so as we will ask for one...

Guys leaning towards buying this bike...
Actually I am very much confused between GS150R and CBunicorn.

                                rightnow 90% towards suzuki GS150.

Am I going in right direction?
                                High Hopes......
