This is the real problem. We are ready to try anything if asked by someone who is to make profit from it.

There may be water in the indicator switch. Removing it will solve this problem; I think.
Yes will do that during this weekend.
Regarding the additive since I never used any additives even in my previous bike just wanted to check whether it in deed adds anything useful to the engine smoothness.
So just tried for the first time and if i am not happy will not be doing that again

I am Sorry that i think i didnt explained this statement in a understandable way

The point is, Neutral light Sensing Line is from The Remote Controller unit.
      Note:
      1. To Start the bike from remote I have press the Start button in the remote twice. Press 1 will enable the Console and press 2 will start the Engine.
      2. So when Press 1 is sent then the controller will check for neutral light.

i think know you got the Picture

      • Problem

I am not able to start the bike by engaging the choke (anytime) where as it s only getting started by disengaging the choke . The bike s also getting switched off when i engage choke . choke s working in opp way.

        History
before my first service my bike had problems wit high idle rpm ( over 2k) which was increasing as step step by from 1k as the distance covered .
during first service SVC mech told me tat he adjusted choke cable in carb.

SO whether any one faced similar prob???
my bike is 500km old and 2 weeks after first sevice

How are you engaging or disengaging the choke? If the choke is really faulty, approach the workshop engineer or supervisor to correct it.

          • guyz today riding my GS at 70-80 kmph on highway.. suddenly a guy on FZ overtook me, went ahead, again slow down and came near me and revving his bike.. i understood he is challenging for a race but i ignored him ... but he did these thing for 3-4 times then finally i decided to race with him and me too rev the bike.. at that time i was at 70kmph.. FZ guy opened his full throttle and went ahead in next moment i shift gear to 4th from 6th and opened full throttle... in few secs i was at 83 then engaged 5th and speed was 109 at that time my bike was neck to neck with his FZ.. now my bike was going ahead with the speed of 113 at 5th gear finely engaged 6th and bike was doing a whooping 124kmph.. i went ahead almost 200mtrs from him.. that FZ guy was shoked and he understood never to challenge a GSpian.. then i reduced my speed and riding again at 70kmph.. he came near me, gave me a salute and went ahead.. At that time i was really proud of my bike.... I love my GS...

My bike is running on Motul3000v Mineral Oil... is there any chance of engine seize while doing this??

Wow! That must have been fun! But I'm sure most of the members(almost everyone) wouldn't recommend this! I'm sure, you must be in your full riding gear, if not; Dont sat that you weren't!

              • ^^^ Good man, you kept the GS name! And don't worry, engine can take a lot more beating than this. If it isn't seized yet, it won't.

GS150R capabilities are already known to all,

Please do not try such high speed with out proper gear, and always think twice before doing such speed, even the road is damn good, and even though the road and bike is much familiar and easy for you, please don't try such things as even a small stone on the road might darken your familys future, yes I have seen such things happen to my friend and his family
is still crying and they are crippled as their only son is lost.

                      its motul 3000 T right ?

She is adult and matured enough to achive that peak, occational high performance and stress is okay for her (yeah am talking about your GS150R only)

I doubt the speed of FZ as due to its design reaching 90 or 100 itself is a momooth task for FZ

                      • @all:
Pls do not use any engine flush or additives which say increased performance, mileage etc. they do nothing. there is no need to flush the engine for at least 40,000 km. (I am saying at least!as generally carbon deposits in engine increase due to fuel quality in our country.) It's a malpractice at some workshops to fool the customers by telling them about increased pickup and mileage!!

@Vulcan: really sorry i couldn't talk to you since last few days as I am at my native near Goa. About additives, these additives n sh*t was told to me also...I refused to them and told them why don't you use it in your bike and if at all you insist give it to me free...i'll test and pay if it's worth! Now these people don't try to sell me any such thing.
I suggest you to service your bike at Simran Suzuki Panvel. SC manager Raju Nayar is a good person and i've seen how they service each and every bike. the differences between Shree Sai (Luise wadi) and Simran (Panvel)are
Shree Sai: bike service (change engine oil, check chain, brakes and some of the things that are mentioned in Job card.)
After this bike is washed and delivered to customer. there is no lubrication done post washing to chain, stand, keyholes etc.

Simran: Wash the bike before service.
change engine oil, clean air filter, check: clutch, brakes, chain, lights, carb tuning and anything else that is specified/ observed wrong by customer and SC advisor.
Lubricate all the vital points. check if all the points mentioned are done to satisfaction of customer.

Usibg choke is not the only sollution for starting problem.

Am also from bangalore, was using choke very rarely, just a kick or press of the start button works for me.

In your case I believe the cold idle RPM is the culprit, if the cold idle RPM is very low starting trouble may occur.

                            Also check your spark plug.

Choke will enrich the supply of fuel, by sending more fuel, this will help only if defficient amount of fuel in engine which caused the bike to struggle to get started.

As your bike is new the best thing is to consult SVC.

Its not Motul3000v..........its Motul 3000 4T plus, yes this is the best mineral oil that our bike can have and seriously, nothing can harm our bike for that kind of riding.

Guys with >12,000km on Odo,please answers these below query.

1)have you changed spark plug at 8000km or till continuing.using spark pus >8000km will cause any concerns?i met a fellow gspian how continuing the spark plus even after 17000km and when i told about this..he is and immediately changed it.

2)fork oil change, wheel bearings, race bearing kit and steering kit changed at 10000km/repacking in the required cases? up to how many kms we can extend these activities.....

                                3)o rings and oil filter...at 8000km.

                                4)air cleaner element at 12000km....

The svc people and even local mechs told that it is not mandatory.and spark plug should be changed at 15000km and similar kind of answers for the other things.
