@akfara i think he is asking if we need any kind of resistor to install LED's.
Can you tell do we need any mod to install the LED's since i am assuming we don't need to do anything just get the LED's And Fit it in GS right?
how much will the LED's Cost

if the LED quality is good it will last longer, its direct fit no need to convert to DC,u read earlier I used in my old pulsar for 2 years with AC only, only problem is u have to remove whole head assembly to fix this SC guy told me 8 screw and two plastic Lock u have to remove to fix these led U can try local mech to do this bcos SC guys are always busy ? Here i saw in other bike lot of LED underbody(neon type) and side(LED stips(paper like with 10 LED serially)) of the seat they fixed and riding,Its look cool but Thats not for me...Its for younger one's.Why i put this LED for me is I got say 5 percent improvement in head light after removing stock pilot lamp,I don't know how much these xenon type LED bulb consume wattage...my aim is to get good power to my head lamp thats it.... still thought to write suzuki guys to change my RR AA to CA series lets see how they respond?Originally posted by adi231189 View Postaah sorry forgot ur name i like the lights man really they are awesome.Am i right that u don't need any socket change u can just get the xenon Led's and fix it up.
What about the main pilot lamps have u got leds in that too? I think if u want to get the main lamps to LeDs u need DC and Socket change.I am not a techie but have very little knowledge which i am trying to increase this by asking

Leds need absolutely no mods. You just need to find the bulb with the correct socket type. However, as leds need dc, they might fuse out very soon when connected to ac. If you are lucky they may last for ages as in the case of Abdul (akfara). They consume very less power but are capable of producing similar or brighter light. To replace a 5watt bulb we can go for 0.9watt led which will give similar if not better light. Raj

is it 412 of this thread ? im not able to find the picsOriginally posted by thefalcon View PostI think it will work fine even with AC supply..
akfara said he took those bulbs from his old pulsar and put it in his gs150 and they had worked for 4 years. i guess the pulsars had AC pilot lamps 4 years ago too, so it should be fine
.
there are pics of the LEDs on page 412, but it does not indicate which brand.. cost is 30 to 100 for a pair, (pretty cheap)..
Anyone know how how remove the current pilot lamps and fit the LEDs ??
(obviously cant go to the SC to do this, due to warranty reasons
)
If its an easy process i may put back the old bulbs while giving for servicing so SC people dont notice anything

no one finished warranty period of our bike. Also rear alloy change and disc setup will shoot up to ~10k.Originally posted by vivek_k_p View PostGuys,
Have you thought of fixing disc brake in Gs 150?
Honda's new Dazzler (150 cc bike) comin with a rear disc..
But many will have that in mind. as GS150R rear is not that good.Rides: HH SPl (2000-2005) | TVS Vic GLX (2005-2010) | S GS150 R (Current)

honda dazzler sure looks good. I heard somewhere that if you change the rear brake spring with new ones available, the braking improves. Please dont ask me where I read it, I have absolutely no idea. @raj, y dont you use the multi quote button. The one next to the quote button. Fuel cock issue
No, the fuel cock rotation is not directly related to fuel leak. It only shows the poor quality of some of the parts used. In a new bike, the screw restraining the movement of the cock is not expected to go missing and the cock is not expected to rotate freely. The fuel leak is only a corollary of the poor quality. Suzuki must take measures to take care of such small issues.Originally posted by adi231189 View PostJust use the multi quote button just next to quote button.
... Really even if the knob turns 360 Don't know how the fuel is leaking
