      1. Main use:
My Mom can hold this Easly without bending froward

      2. Ordinary Handel are fitted on the Sock absorbers which the pillion needs to bend little forward to hold it but this unicorn style is little higher and easy to hold

        • Yesterday completed 2nd service at 3300kms

The bike feels good and the gears have become smooth.
But the other issues seems to be unresolved/partially resolved.

1.Vibes after 4k rpm - The bike is vibe free till 4(except 3.5k rpm resonance vibes) and after that I can feel vibes till 70.(Didn't took beyond that and I am sure the vibes will continue).
Fellow GSpains please confirm till what speed the vibes are absent in GS.
I even told the SVC to replace the visor nuts if thats the culprit but they have not.
2.Clunk noise while gear shifting. This noise is intermittent and can appear while shifting from 2-3 / 3-4 / rarely 4-5 but never during 1-2 / 5-6.
The noise is something like the gear lever is touching some metal part.
But even after the service the same noise is present.

Will need to check with them during the weekend.

Otherwise now the rear wheel of my bike rotates freely.
Also they have added some 3M additive( They told it will make the bike smooth)..
Have to see the results myself.
Total cost was 415rs out of which 50rs was vat

I installed the Remote Security System(Roots Gladiator II) for GS
            This works awesome,
I can start the Engine with Remote With No Fear on whether the Gear is engaged or Not.
There is Line for sensing Neutral Light so the engine will start only if the Gear Position is Neutral.
When any Gear is engaged, if i press the Engine Start Button on Remote means Just the Indicator Light will Flash once and the siren will give a Different Tone, but the Engine will not start through Remote until Neutral Line is Detected.
congrats..... could u post a video of the same i m interested in such a device...

hey guyz gave bike today for 2nd free service @ 1997 kms ,told him all the problems faced . he said that would be done he suggested me that i should do engine flush-rs. 240, petrol additive- rs. 65 & oil additive costing rs. 65 , he said that this would increase mileage & improve engine conditions. is this true ? i only gave for oil change (second service normal) & engine flush of rs 240 as i can add oil & petrol additives on my own?
but where do we get this oil & petrol additives which brand do you recommend me to use ?or is this all bluff ?
give all your suggestions & comments & please enlighten me
Also i asked him that can he help in full dc conversion he said that wil reduce life of battery & may damage it permanently.???

This is the clarification that I was seeking.........thanks

                Also,
Apart from the usual utilities upgrade and service realted issues, lets browse some pictures for a mood change.

All such addictives are benefit for the dealer not GS, ask him to show the manual pages where it was mentioned to add addictives for Gs150R

Converting to DC is not mandatory but it boost your confidence during long night drives, and that's one of the extreme way we are using to fix the shortsight night vision wolf eye problem of our GS.

Converting to full DC won't affect the battery or bike if done in the right way by right people, dealers won't do that .

I wonder how the mechanic dared to flush a very new engine which has no sludge or carbon deposit in it. If it will increase mileage, ask him to prove it by riding the bike before and after the usage of this miraculous product.

The major part of some oil additives which claim to remove sludge is nothing more than kerosene or naphthalene.

Some of the service centers are supplying these products because they are getting 100, 200 or more percentage of profit.

In the full DC conversion, there is a possibility of reduced battery life because of the higher charging rate. I too am waiting to see the result of this conversion to explain how it was done.

Which? Converting to full DC or oil / fuel additives?

Remove the visor and ride in 4k or more engine rpm to check whether the bike is vibrating.

All these aftermarket performance boosters are either worthless or harmful. It is better to keep away from them.

Yes Vishnu I am also thinking of doing it but the only concern is that I do not have the necessary tool which is required to install the nuts with proper torque.
Will the appropirate screw driver will do the job?(I guess so)

Yeah I agree and even asked the benefit of the same and they told it will improve the smoothness..
So thought of giving it a try.

Also one more strange thing is happening in my bike after the service.
A beep sound is coming constantly once I turn the ignition key to ON position and its not disappearing.
Some suspecting some faulty connection in the indicator buzzer.
will get is fixed from the SVC.

Also do you have any idea about my other issue.(That noise while changing gears)..Its very intermittent and is coming either at 2-3,3-4,4-5 but not with all the combinations.(meant if the noise came during 2-3 then it will not appear in the next series of shift likewise)

A star screw driver is enough.

This is the real problem. We are ready to try anything if asked by someone who is to make profit from it.

There may be water in the indicator switch. Removing it will solve this problem; I think.
