SVC received the lockset a couple of days ago. I got it changed today. Took about 4.5 hrs. to fix.
    Bike is back in business!

Glad to know. Is it the redesigned lock set or another stock one?

I don't think it's any different 😁 They had given order for the bottom bolts too which are in back order now.

As per the Government rule all bikes more than 150cc has to be equipped with ABS. So we can expect ABS version in 2017!!! Hope for the best !!!

As per government all 125cc and above two wheelers should have abs by april 2018. So I don't think 2017 can be possibility and yamaha has not committed any specific time frame.

I think you gotta understand mrf are budget tyres, you can't expect too much, how are Michelins?

Michelins are good, but MRFs on R3 are not worthy, on wet surfaces it's grip will scare you. MRFs on R15 were awesome.

Better options for tyres on R3: Michelin pilot street radial or pirelli diablo rosso 2 (both stock size).

The mrf rev c1 and f1 are track tyres, best dry grip, very good cornering but fails to deliver on wet grip...the rear is 150/60 and front is 110/70 , not like the stock mrfs. Honestly would go for Michelin's only cause they have a amazing life plus they are medium compound and offer enough grip on all surfaces , pirelli I would avoid because being soft compound in nature are more prone to punctures, but make no mistake they are real good tyres, comes stock on the mahindra mojo.

My bike is running on Michelin only for past 8k kms (3k kms with MRF) yes c1 and f1 are good tyres but sadly that doesn't comes as a stock with R3.

The c1 and f1 I mentioned are around 8k and are more suited for the track than the road or a highway with minimal potholes, you can still but the rear on your bike,No issues but stock size is best for all road conditions.

The reason for my asking is because pirelli sport demon (stock size) is readily available but not diablo rosso II ,they are not ready to get diablo and are trying to push sport demon, so any views on sport demon is welcome, since i have completed 5000 on stock MRF the wet grip is not confidence inspiring compared to even my R15 MRF tyres . How is the Michelin tyres wet grip ,i'm not particular about mileage,

I think Pirelli sport demons are touring tyres, so should be medium/soft compared to the Diablo rosso II which are soft compound tyres.
