Comparably Tansi would be better when it comes to service.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Hi,
Recently I met with a minor accident, during which I have observed some engine oil leak on the road. After the accident I have given for service, at that time the svc center has only mineral oil, so I asked them not to change the oil. Now I'm returning back to Bangalore from my village and my engine is getting heated up too much. Is it because of lesser quantity of engine oil?
Anyways I want to change my engine oil as my next free service is at october. Shall I change with the shell oil or prefer Honda throttle only?

Thanks bro for your suggestion.Originally posted by Shashank K R View PostHave you checked the oil level? If it's low then immediately top it up.
I suggest you to use this oil till it loses life and then change the oil. Why waste good oil.
I have ran almost 2000kms on the same oil and it turned medium brown colour. I didn't understood dipsticks calibration to identify if oil is sufficient or not

Morning before you ride, just start the bike and warm up the bike for 2 minutes. Then open the dipstick and wipe clean. Then put the dipstick in the sump (don't screw it in) and take it out. The oil level should be between the 2 markings.Originally posted by Shabareesh Shab View PostThanks bro for your suggestion.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
If you feel there's engine roughness, clunky gearshifts and in general more noise and heat, change the oil. If it's a mineral oil just to be safe you can drain it at around 2-2.5k km.

After how many kilometres should oil be changed? (Mainly highway riding 60-95 kmph)
