    850 is too much.
Chain cleaning 200 too much and also it should be free.
Chain lubrication using 3M -250 too much. Max it may be 50-100.
So max it should be 450.
    Mine was done at 345.
Take up this issue with concerned.
During my 2nd service at EVM Kakkanad Kochi @ 6000 KM , they charged cost of engine oil only. All other work done as per schedule free of cost.

Has anyone done touring on Honda hornet 160r ?
If yes then please specify the details of the ride ...

I have friends who has got ktm duke 390 and rc 200 and they have done touring ...
At once even I wanted to take one of those and go along them for touring - but at the end I realised I would prefer to take a flight or my car in order to save my ass for such long distances .

Recently they are asking me to take a ride from Mumbai to Lavassa which is like around 280 km average one way ...

So was wondering to do it on Honda hornet 160r .
Has anyone done it yet ?
Have they faced any issues while doing it ?
Any engine heat up problem ?

I went for a 248 Km trip through high range area of Idukki Dist in Kerala . It was a single day ride. I never face any type of problem you mentioned .

Today completed my 350 KMs and my first service will be due in 1 more week. hoping to get around 500 KMs till then. Filled the bike on the day when i purchased the bike with 500 Rs of petrol which will be around 8 Liters of it here in Delhi. There was some fuel already left in the reserve before my refuelling so i assume approx taking 1.7 liters of reserve size 1 liter went to reserve and 7 liters in the main. Now 7 liters and 350 Kms give a approx mileage of 50 KMPL which is not bad for Delhi traffic jams. Going to do a reserve to reserve check now and will post the results.

1 query to the experts now :

I had commuted during heavy rain on Thursday for around 20 KMS . I was on the ring road was not able to stop and drove in the water filled roads during the rain. Later on Friday my bike was parked in open parking and it rained heavily for around 2-3 Hrs. When i took the bike out in the evening i felt that the throttle was not as responsive as it was earlier. At some points when i was raising the throttle i suddenly felt the engine lost power or skipped a heartbeat for a second or two. I am not sure why this happened. So was this due to the rain or was this due to low amount of the fuel or was it just i am being over cautions ?

Try to post a picture of the scratch.
If the scratch is not very deep and is in the clear coat region then only it can be repaired.

I too face the same. It's mostly because the engine gets cold. Warm it up, and no problems.

Could be the issue of logged water around the engine and in silencer.
I too have have faced the issue of starting and loosing power for few starting minutes.
Always warm the engine after heavy rain and after water logged road. It will clear out the mechanism.

After 2nd service, First time I raved over 80+Kmph @6K rpm. Totally awesome bassy sound with feeling , Not even single metallic sound. I could feel the the power so clearly.

Yup, If the whether is very cool the engine takes time to heat up. You can observe it on tacho meter, When it is too cool the engine does <1.3K RPM.So overcome this put your bike on idlefor 60 secs or so and let it get heatup itself don't throttle it too much. After heating up you can drive your bike as is

Those ticks are to mark that the bolts are torqued correctly and not loose.

Depends upon which light you are opting to.

Type 1: Halogen Bulb. Better and brighter bulbs are available than the stock (Phoenix/Life) ones. This wouldn't affect the warranty too.

Type 2: HID/LED bulbs or projectors. If you have this in your mind, hid is the best in case of brightness. Led can not match hid's brightness. A 35w hid can produce brightness which is equivalent to 130w rally bulb. But you have to choose the right kit. And yes. Wiring kit warranty will void.
Hi I'm not looking for bulb change since what ever done in that y shape head light unit may not yield well, I'm looking for two small auxiliary unit that can be fitted on handle bar. I've seen this mode on a 200ns but could not check properly.
                          slow down.

No idea about scratch guard and the marks is to check the bolts fitted properly and even I had yellow marks in my bike.usually the marks will be cleaned and deliver to the showroom but I think due to heavy production they might skip this operation
