        • How to avoid rust on chain

How to avoid chain getting rusted during monsoon? Due to so much dust and wetness, chain lube doesn't hold for long, how to protect it? Currently, I'm using Motul C1 and C2.

            Hi friends,
Will red colour fad out over years?

Or its good enough to hold for long years

Hi guys, anybody suggest good sounding horn. Interested in both high and low toned ones(double horn). Quality preferred over loudness. Help me out

Dude the bike only launched a few months back, so only time will tell regarding the fading of colours. The paint job on the frame and metal parts are shoddy though and rust easily. However the plastic parts are cheap and can be easily replaced.

Regarding my red colour, it still looks as good as new after a month.

                    Hi Brothers,
Planning to do a paint job with black matte on white hornet. I want to make Only grey panels to black. I have just made a rough sketch on the original photo to just give an idea of the looks after paint job. Suggest me the good places in Bangalore(india) to get this job done. Thanks.

                    • 55W additional headlight

                      Hi riders,
Headlight on Hornet is really disappointing. In rains, it is totally useless.

Has anyone fitted additional 2 headlights without disturbing original wiring and headlights?
I wish to fit it on 2 side shock-absorbers. So that it can be removed easily and won't void warranty.

Please help me out on this.

Can you please post pics of your Hornet headlights in total darkness? I feel like mine are defective. Please...

So far i haven't reached over 4 rpm, Ride this bike is super fun. I loved it. And done around 315 Km so far.

                                But there is a problem:

                                EDIT :

                                I'm hearing
tick tick(our forum members are confusing with metal contraction but it's not) srhh srhh kind of sound at the rear tyre while i was riding and chain also got loosen it was making sound. I have checked for dust or something but it is pretty good.

I'm clearly able to listen the sound(chain as well as rear tyre) even when i'm riding with helmet.

But for 315Km in week chain slackness seems to be abnormal.

Do i have to take to service center to make it fix ?

What could be the wrong it's just new one.

Should i have to visit service center for the fix because the first service not yet done as it bought a week ago.
Please can you help me ?

Any way to remove scratch from the plastic panel covering petrol tank.?

Yeah rusting seems common to these bikes.

I've got my bike before week ago as it is monsoon season it's been raining from the day of the delivery to till date in hyderabad. i can visibly see the rusting in the centerstand and foot resting and under seat cover. I saw this thing in delivery day itself they showed me the 3 to 4 bikes all of them having rusting. but somehow they managed with some kind of black paint.

I too had this issue of chain making noise and getting loose frequently but now everything is good.

At how many k.m your chain got slackness?
