What you can do is quick wash bike with water so that mud goes away. Keep on lubricating chain yourself.

Does this rusting happen on all bikes? Mainly in case of Gixxer, FZ, etc?
If it only happens with Honda then it's serious build issue. 😑😐
Suzuki rusts faster .. don't know about Yamaha..... my bike has very little rust.. only near rear footpegs n my crash guard which I crashed :P

Thanks for that. Where can we get those genuine horns?😃

Bosch dual tone. Quite loud, but legal too. Cost me 500 bucks in 2013. No relay needed.

ACF-50 it's used to prevent rust. Some ASCs use it.

It's strange, my Unicorn isn't rusting anywhere except for a nut on the foot peg (thoroughly checked as I had to remove tank, side panels, headlight dome, etc for fixing some stuff).
leech Does the Bosch dual tone void warranty, as in does it require cutting/splicing wires? Will it work on our 4ah batteries?

That's company cover. Got it from the showroom where I purchased it.

I guess our battery ? ... Will it support it?

No relay needed. No extra wiring. Just an extra wire needs to be added to the stock horn wires, since my CBR came with single horn. I used crocodile clips to connect them.

About the 4 ah battery, well I'm not too sure. CBR comes with 7ah battery, and I've changed to a 9ah Amaron AGM for more fun.

I recommend the Bosch dual tone because the seller told me anything more powerful would require a relay. And I've used it liberally for the past 3 years. It can be heard by trucks.

Yes, you're right. In my area as well many bikes are older and they haven't rusted a bit. Even 2 old model unicorns are totally clean.

I contacted SVC about this and they asked to me visit. Let's see what they say.

I don't know whether it was the riding in incessant rain over the past week, or just plain faulty electricals, but this morning when I tried to start the bike, the display would just switch off. After a few attempts the bike finally started and the display came to life as well. Thank god! BUT then the horn wouldn't work. After riding a few kms the horn started working as well. Had no choice but to ride it to work anyway as otherwise I would be late. Thankfully no glitches faced on the way but I think I need to go get the wiring checked. Hoping it doesn't happen in the evening while leaving office *fingers crossed*
