    3. Half Clutch: Partially engaged , So you don't have to shift down always. Problem: Should not use too much. While engaging half clutch wheel is moving, that means your clutch plate have to work more and lifespan will decreased.
Your 1st point, can you please elaborate on diffrent situations

Bike after monthly maintenance and cleaning. I have cleaned and painted all rusted parts. Also cleaned chain using diamond chain spray and then lubed using rolon chain lube. How does my air filter look? I've done about 1500kms. How many more before I need to change?

Did you notice, when you leave the accelerator in speed it acts like break and your bike start slowing down (*Due to engine breaking). While breaking if you engage the clutch your wheel will be free from engine which leads bike to stop at higher distance. In corner case never press the clutch, bike will skid off.
Try pressing clutch while coming down the flyover, you will feel like you have no control over bike.

A better practice is reduce accelerator + apply break first and then later press the clutch to avoid stalling the engine. In panic situation, people apply everything at once which causes bike skid.

Engage the clutch : Pulling the clutch

My chain is rusting on inner parts. But nothing on joints and sides.

            Thank you for this explanation.
I do the same most of the times, i.e. don't touch clutch unless needed to downshift gear while breaking and only while upshifting.

Very simple DIY. Just unscrew the 4 screws holding the air filter cover under the seat.
                  Owner's manual page number 54.

You can also remove the cover to get the KnN sound without damaging the engine[emoji13].

When I removed the air filter cover the engine sounded really harsh and was probably knocking.

I did the painting by myself.
It costed only Rs 115 total.
100 rs for the can of flat black paint and 15 rs for 320 grade Emery sheet.
My asc had quoted 300-400 on the paint job. I felt it was not worth giving to them because they wouldn't let me in to see while any work on the bike.

Probably because the afr became lean due to more air entering.
