In Hyderabad (At least in my area) they just bluntly tell that they use only grease.------------------

190/- is Ok deal for it to clean and lube with 3M.Originally posted by vaRider View PostYeah I requested them for same reason and they agreed. Cleaned with 3M and lubed with 3M 190₹
Better ask them to clean only, as it covered in service. Then lube it by yourself.

Bt i love the bike , so confidence inspiring handling bt suspension is little hard..

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I would suggest that you go for neither. See if you can cancel your booking. Go for gixxer sf fi or tvs apache rtr 200 (fi) or pulsar 200ns 2017 or bajaj dominar 400(if you can afford it). There's no more reason to buy a honda after the emergence of really good bikes at reasonable prices in the market.Originally posted by BlazeForth View PostCan anyone help me please. I have already booked my hornet 160r sports red. Should I go for special edition version? Or does sports red looks good?

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
The only reason am buying this bike is because of comfort and mileage and I trust honda. I daily ride about 70kms which makes me consider the mileage too. From what I heard hornet gets an average mileage of 55kmpl. My first on list was 200ns, but my friends only getting 35kmpl on a city ride and I didnt like the gixxer sf in terms of look and quality. The part I don't like in gixxer sf in terms of look is the straight handle for a bike having fairing which looks ugly in my eyes.Originally posted by Suddy View PostI would suggest that you go for neither. If you are riding 35Km without rush of traffic. Hornet is fine choice. Driving on good road feels great with it.
However, if there is quite traffic condition, smaller gears for 1st and 2nd will be pain.
Though, I agree that given the price factor of 1Lakh you can look for other options.
In, term of quality, Lookswise it may not feel sturdy but I believe design and material are very good. I skid at 60Kmph recently. Gots lots of bruises but, literally nothing happened to bike.
Moreover, As my experience, this bike take quite a time to get smooth. Gives you glitches in beginning of months. But after 2nd even 3rd service you will feel it is getting better and better.Last edited by anoopkumar0; 02-07-2017, 01:28 PM.------------------

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I went through all the pages in this thread before buying hornet , at first i was little bit skeptical about the purchase but now after riding 800kms on this machine i feel i made right choice , i hope everything goes out smooth after first service.
Any advice from fellow riders about how to ride after first service till now kept the rpm below 4500
