Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Before second service my hornet was very smooth but after second service it behave rough randomly. I mean on a particular day i feel the bike is very smooth and on some day I feel the engine, gears and clutch became rough. Took it to Honda ASC 3 times post service and every time they said it is fine and there is no problem. Finally i asked for expert engineer visit. The engineer team from Honda visited on 19 Jan and they checked my bike and said there is no issue with the bike. But again i feel it is rough ( May be they are used to rough engines now).My local mechanic says honda ASC has just changed the oil and didnt do servicing properly and says give the bike to him and he will do the proper servicing. My 2nd service was done at 4100 Kms in December now I am at 5200 Kms and planning to do the 3rd free service with honda and later on do all the services at local mechanic. Even i raised a complaint online regarding the correct engine oil to be used as it is not clear in the booklet weather to use synthetic or mineral oil and ASC guys will fill mineral oil only as it is cheap.
Any suggestions or advice guys for the roughness or my plan for servicing.

The valve clearance is needed to be set and crankcase breathner must be cleaned.Originally posted by motobiker View PostSame here....before second servicing and 3500km everything is fine for me too, after second servicing facing the issues.

Looks are subjective. But If I had to take Hornet, I would choose the orange Special edition any day.... Mars Orange it is. Cheers.Originally posted by BlazeForth View PostCan anyone help me please. I have already booked my hornet 160r sports red. Should I go for special edition version? Or does sports red looks good?

ishaaq: thanks for the suggestion would appreciate if you can throw some more light on the procedure so that I can get it done by a mechanic than ASCOriginally posted by ishaaq View PostThe valve clearance is needed to be set and crankcase breathner must be cleaned.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I didnt go to asc.. bt i asked many mechanic. They say if the valve clearance is set..the vehicle has more chances to become smooth. I did lots of research about my issues. When engine is cold, vehicle runs good after it becomes rough. It is because the valve clearance decrease.. so the engine feels rough. Also u need to timing chain and tappet settings. I planning to do those things after 2000kms. Cause my bike has run 1200km. There are chances that the valve clearance will increase with time. If doing valve clearance doesn't solve the problem. I would claim warranty. Hope for the best.Originally posted by Abhik1 View PostWhat's update bro is it resolved after changes ?

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I would suggest you change the service center. Make a complain to honda customer care and explain your issues. At last say that your not happy with the current service center. They would suggest you good asc.Originally posted by Venkatesh Prakash View Postishaaq: thanks for the suggestion would appreciate if you can throw some more light on the procedure so that I can get it done by a mechanic than ASC
