    I felt some rattling sound today while driving. I was riding without helmet. When checked I found it was loose.
    I did chain tightening at ASC. Guy did it in few min and applied some grease too.

    I was feeling like premium customer. I just went to mechanic and said "My bike is chain is loose", (Didn't even mention about Hornet or in warrantee vehicle) .

      Yes you are right, I wasnt talking about that sound you get when you lug the bike in higher gears at lower speeds.

        Can I have more freeplay in clutch lever than the limit suggested in the manual? My hands are quite small, that's why.....

            I checked the link HONDA/HORNET CB160R Complaints where buyers are facing the same problem, i spoke to one of the guy who bought a hornet from the same honda showroom, this guy has faced the same problem and has shown his bike to a few bike mechanics, all of them said that there is some engine [piston] issue with the bike. He asked the manager of the service centre to replace the engine, but until now they didn't respond.
            The guy added that, the released 1st batch of hornets has this type of issue, which has been resolved in the latest version, but they don't care about the older defective hornets anymore, everyone from the showroom to honda manufacturer, want to suppress this issue.

            I'll keep posting updates.

              That's such a bad experience Buddy...

              When did you purchase your bike? 1st batch would be probably in January. I got mine in Feb 1st week. So mine would be in 2nd/3rd batch.

              Did you try to get in touch with Honda? Try to connect them on social media.

                Saw many new Hornet today in Mumbai. Red color for most of them.. 😀

                          Can you please share the vin/chassis no. here if you are of the first batch?

                          It would be helpful for other owners like us, if we could compare the batch number.

                              Seen on the frame near handle.
                              Can be seen when the handle is moved all the way to left.

                                I got my bike on 18th, Jan. I guess, mine is from 1st batch.
                                I am not getting such issue.
