Honda Hornet 160r Special Edition Dragon Red (My concept)
disclaimer: there's no such color variant, i just photoshopped the mars orange variant
I love black and red color variant , planning to do a vinyl wrap and stickers after buying mars orange...will that void my warranty ?

If you have never trusted TVS this is the chance to trust them.Originally posted by Duke1990 View Post... i never trusted TVS ... and after sales service is not up to the mark... at this part of the country (Jharkhand)..
Trust me rtr200 is wonderful pick over hornet. My friend has it. As a Gixxer owner i felt gixxer is better than Hornet and rtr200 is better than Gixxer. I have ridden all of them back to back. You will not go wrong with TVS as well.

He is talking about after sales service, not the bike itself.Originally posted by gnan10 View PostIf you have never trusted TVS this is the chance to trust them.

The recommended viscosity grade for all Honda 2 wheeler is 10w30.Originally posted by Ashhar_Saaed View PostHi,
2nd service was done at 2600 km, now bike running is 3600.is this the ryt tym to jump on synthetic oil (10w40). Is really improve the engine life??
I strongly feel even if u are switching to synthetic oil, you should stick to the same oil grade.
I am also planning to run my engine on Honda throttle pure synthetic, if th ASC let's me do on my 3re service.Last edited by Varun Babinwala; 08-29-2016, 03:00 AM.

rtr200 - a good work horse but TVS is never a name for engine refinement. The performance comes with poor fuel efficiency. After sales service is questionable.Originally posted by gnan10 View PostIf you have never trusted TVS this is the chance to trust them.

Gixxer - a pleasure bike. still a threat for competitors. Only for single go happy guys. Almost no pillion. Fuel woes is there. low displacement.
hornet - switch gear & head lamp is let down. fuel efficiency and engine refinement is epic. Comfortable pillion. Attracts wider audience. A mature product.
All three has its own bones. cant compare but one should decide their best match.

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Fuel efficiency is very much same on Hornet and gixxer. Refinement doesn't mean less sound from engine . The response from engine is so much precise on Gixxer though not as great as rtr 200. And has really great power delivery which makes u feel little energetic while riding. Almost vibe free engine. Gixxer can go head to head with Hornet in engine department as well.Originally posted by Ananda View Postrtr200 - a good work horse but TVS is never a name for engine refinement.
