Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
It was fine when I start cold engine from ASC and didn't find much difference in idle rpm but when I was in the traffic the bike moved without giving acceleration and just by releasing the clutch. Now it is ok. I have adjusted myself thanks buddieOriginally posted by vaRider View Post

HiOriginally posted by sri.rtr160 View PostHi congrats... Sriking green is an good option.. from which dealership you bought from?
Even I faced the suspension issue, later it got rectified in first service (Not an issue to worry if there is not so much sound coming from that)
Happy Riding, Dont exceed 4000 RPM untill first Service.
Thanks
Bought from jsp honda kukatpally.
Visited service now and sales person was kind enough to find a technician. They did a test drive and asked me to check the air pressure and comeback tomorrow if its the same.
To my surprise airpressure was 45ps rear and 35 front(it was from honda service) got the air pressure corrected. Will check it tomorrow.
Thanks 😊

Digital fuel gauges aren't accurate. One line presents 1.75lOriginally posted by Parag Sharma View PostThnx ravii bro...will take care of....ryt now clocking 45-50 in 5th gear

Congratulations !!!
Fuel bars shows variations some times, dont worry about it.Also, dont worry about mileage till 1000~1500 kms,but it will surely give you more than 45+.Ride properly within 4.5k rpm for 1000 kms and 6k for 1500km.
I am getting milage between 47-53
Last time I have got 48.36kmpl

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Last night around 11 PM i fall down due to skidding by pebbles. I was going slowly, so no damage to bike and myself. people nearby helped me. I thanked them and when i tried to start bike again i found the gear lever was bent little and unable to shift. luckily the lever was stuck in 4th gear. so started with choke and reached home safely.
Today morning i visited ASC(perungalathur) near my home. A mechanic relieved the lever and also did chain adjustment. they didnt charged me anything. so i was all smiles and started bike to test performance. I saw no issues in gear shift and i red lined at 105 kmph with still more juice. Honda is Honda.

I couldn't feel my rear brakes either; but it changed after the first service and now I use them more often than the front ones.Originally posted by anoopkumar0 View PostCompleted my 3rd service by 10 Months / 6200 ODO.
So far engine is getting smother.
Only issue is when I use only rear break, it seems ineffective but with front+rear. Great breaking. Kind of used to it.
I am not sure if I ask service center to make it really effective. If rear tyre get locked while breaking, bike will surely skid.
I asked about synthetic oil use. ASC mechanic told, after all free service he can fill any choice of engine oil in front of me.

Always use the front brakes more. Rear brakes are only meant to add stability while braking on most bikes.Originally posted by Suddy View PostI couldn't feel my rear brakes either; but it changed after the first service and now I use them more often than the front ones.Got a $5 head? Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Same the case with my CBS model,it has lost its previous charm. I have to apply breaks hard,to slow it down.Previous it is working great,i have shown this to asc they say all is fine with the break, though front break is quite effective.Originally posted by Divya Sharan View PostAlways use the front brakes more.
