Also, do they offer nitrogen gas?
any gas station is fine, as long as they fill up your tyre properly. have been filling air in tyres for the last 20 yrs, and havent had a single problem with pin damage till date. so rest assured

regarding nitrogen, youtube has plenty videos debunking nitrogen use, especially for daily usage.
think about it, normal air is already 70 percent nitrogen ;-) and those nitrogen generators that these guys have, generally dont have proper maintenance that would ensure purity, so the whole point is lost anyways.
tyres have been filling up with normal air for the last 100 yrs, nothing has happened, i doubt anything will happen now either ;-)
    enjoy your love

my gawd. seriously? are u still stuck? in case yes, just ride slowly to the nearest air station. otherwise just get air filled.
nothing wrong with your tyre. his system isnt working properly. the pressure sensor cannot differentiate between nitrogen and oxygen (the other component of air). it just senses pressure...

Whoa no. I'm not stuck anywhere. Why would I be typing away if I was in such a situation? I meant it only as a probable situation. To make this clear again, I'm not typing from some abandoned road or air station. I'm cozy in my home. Sometime in between those two previous quotes, i did go to fill my tyres(i actually went for filling my tank). And the 15psi reading is true. It went to 16.5, then dropped to 15. His explanation seemed kinda unsatisfactory. But I rode my bike for sometime afterwards and I didn't notice any kind of lack in pressures though. I just wasn't sure if the effects would manifest after a few more kms or not, that is, if indeed that machine(or the guy) was malfunctioning.....🤔

                haha phew...

u can just check it out at some other air filling guy... just to double check. because radial tyres do not physically show much deformation due to low pressure, but internally they are getting damaged...

                  1500 km update------

Covered 1500 km.Here is my observations:

                  First the good ones--
1)This bike seriously needs a sixth gear.Had there been a sixth gear this bike would has been a absolute gem for highway cruising.Still a very good highway cruiser in between 80-90 kmph, with occasional blast to 100 kmph.
2)Ride quality is fantastic.I often go to my village(60km one way).14 km(one way) of the road is tarred but not well maintained. And the bike just glides over this section of the roads. And what I hear is just the sound of the engine nothing else.
3)Brake,brake & brake. The brake set up in the CBS version is simply awesome.
4)The look--the brawny look gets lot of praises.

                  Then the bad one---
1)Pleople who likes the top end must not choose this bike in this segment. There are better options at this price point.
2)The headlight is a very poor link of this bike---both spread & brightness. Those who need/love powerful headlight shouldnot choose this bike.
                  3)This bike deserves more power.
4)Shift quality should have been better.
5)Paint quality over the welded portions of the body is really really poor and is prone to surface rust.I have painted all those portions myself.Never expected such a poor finish from HONDA.This is my first HONDA two wheeler after 18 years of riding and I am literally shocked after seeing those rusting.
6)Paint quality of the middle panel(painted in bright grey for all the sheds) is third class. It gets a paint rub off(not scratch) at slightest of unwanted sharp contacts.
7)Switch gears ---- already discussed by many.
8)Brake fluid container for the rear brakes should have been hidden behind the middle panel. It(the container) looks odd and also unsafe as it is more prone to damage outside.

                  What mods I have done--
1)Replaced the front two parking lights with Osram leds.
2)Replaced the rear number plate light with PHILIPS Ultinon Led(6700k).
3)Did my first service at 830 km and change the oil @900 km to MOTUL 4T 5100 (10W30).Will change the oil again at 3000 km with the same MOTUL grade..

There are more bads than the good ones.So am I satisfied with my bike?NO.It's a Honda and should has been better.I think the new GIXXER with rear disc & FI is a better choice----my personal opinion.

This is all for now folks.Thanks.

Please remember Osrams are for front parking application & the Philips is for rear number plate application(360 degree light spread).
