Just drive little gentle. Don't abuse till 1000Km. Occasional raving till 80 but not harshly. No need to get too much cautious.Originally posted by NainHardeep View Post

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Congrats Dear brother. Orange, is also good and looks elegant where as green looks aggressive.Originally posted by Duke1990 View Posti bought the orange one yeaterday. but green looks more kool.... nd striking... the chain feels a little bit loose... nd gear shifting is hard... r u having the same feel about the bike...
Regarding, chain loose, I hear a small and very low grinning noise once I de-acclerate and got vanished once I accelerate again. Seems a bit loose. Noise not audible if riding with helmet.
Gear shifts are a bit hard but I am able to shift and finding Neutral as well easily. Gears are engaging with a nice solid click sound.
Keep munching miles.

Thanks Anoop ji for relating bike riding with a girlfriend equation. How ever, I got married I'm early days and don't have experience on how to handle girlfriend.Originally posted by anoopkumar0 View PostJust drive little gentle. Don't abuse till 1000Km. Anyway, coming to topic, I am riding my bike gently and even if increasing speed, that too is done by a linear acceleration and not of a quick speeding.
Hope fully, doing it correctly and request suggestion.

You may face some issues like hard gear and loose chain. Will get sort-out by 2nd service.
On suggestion side - Warm up the bike in first start in morning. You will get smooth ride.
Question: Last week I started bike after 8 days. It got the ignition and I warmed up for 30 sec. But after 200m bike stopped. I was able to start after 2 min of kicking. After that again warmed up for 30-40 sec and it was smooth ride after that.
Is this issue related to engine oil or something else?
Didn't warmed up properly? - Yes.
Of-course, lesson learned that, warm up well after 3 -4 cold days. Even after 8 months, I still warm up for 20+ sec in morning.------------------

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Regarding, morning start up, my service manager told to start the bike at 1st time by kick and let it warm by 1 minute. I did the same but after some 15-20 second, Bike got switched off. Seems like that RPM need to set properlu. How it is to be done, I don't know.Originally posted by anoopkumar0 View PostNew wife it is [emoji14] .

Looks good. Read the manual for correct RPM setting.Originally posted by NainHardeep View PostRPM is at around 1000 when cold and around 1300-1400 when hoy.
Is it ok or something to adjust.
Bike is just 1 day old.
The bike shuts down automatically or while riding? The real beauty lies in throttle's twist!!

1. Do not fast (hard) accelerate
2. Do not maintain a constant RPM
Thats all, you can go to max speed atleast few times or else u never will reach it.. as the engine sets up

You will have to buy a flasher relay if you switch to LEDs otherwise your led will blink very fast(hyperblinking).Originally posted by karan0011 View Postwant to change the indicators with pulsar RS200 LED indicators....

You rode 9600 kms without chain adjustment?Originally posted by Remesh Augustine View PostMy Hornet CBS completed 9600 Km ... no such issue ...used to lubricate with Motul chain lube in every 800-1000 km and working without any complaint. But now its the time for chain adjustment due to little slackness.
Got a $5 head? Get a $5 helmet.
