Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
I too experienced it from my front suspension, still having that sound after 2.2k kmsOriginally posted by sri.rtr160 View PostHi Everyone
Just now bought home Cb160 CBS version...every thing is ok...but while riding in pot holes or on speed breakers a weird sound like TUKK TUKK is coming from suspension. Immediately went to service centre but its already shutdown time no one was there..but 1 mechanic said that its because of new suspension and it will b rectified in a few km automatically... any one experienced his type of issue ? Plz suggest...
Thanks in Advance. Will post some pics tmr....

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Hello guys,
I have bought Hornet CBS limited edition on 5th of October,16.After making it to 650 km I got it serviced today.
There were couple of problems with the engine too.
These are:
1.The gears were locking up and gets free after releasing some clutch.
2.Also after taking throttle off revs goes down very slow to normal 1000rpm which was not there when I bought it and so also reduce the brake feedback.
1st problem is solved but 2nd problem still persists.
During my 650 km run, I made it once go to 103 kph and average speed was 60 kph and average rpm were 4000-5000.
Have I made damage to the engine ??
This is worrying me a lot....
Please help me in relieving my query.. and also please suggest me engine precautions to care up !!!!Last edited by Ravii; 10-17-2016, 08:37 PM.

Mine too gets stuck on quick downshifts, which when happens, i have to release the clutch and downshift again. Its a real pain when we have to take a speed breaker.
What was the problem? How did they rectify it.?
And regarding running in, its a controversial topic and one cannot say if you have done something harmful to the engine now. Experts should help you with it.

I too faced the same problem in the beginningOriginally posted by baymax View PostYes. That's what i do when i have to take a speed breaker.
Try holding clutch on the left extreme edge and change the gears, this should work
At least worked for me

This is the same case with my bikeOriginally posted by Ravii View PostHello guys,
2.Also after taking throttle off revs goes down very slow to normal 1000rpm which was not there when I bought it
The mechanic in the SVC changed the needle jet in the carb to cb unicorn's needle jet
Only a slight difference could be observed
But something is better than nothing
