Sound
in upto 3 gear @5-6K RPM is there. Also I don't get significant speedup over 4K in 1-3 gear.
For me, shift by 4k for 1-4 gear, and for 5th gear, usually by 5K but I sometimes go beyond 6k.

Good that you got serviced up in 1st service only. Can you list out issue you send to Honda service.

When I start my bike in cold engine it runs smoothly and I can change gears after 5 k rpm without issues . After say the bike warms up post 5km when I try keeping it constant at 4k rpm to 5k rpm in 2-3rd gear I hear a noise that fades away post 5k rpm . Engine would vibrate a bit and it gives a signs that you normally get when bike engines r hot ie - drop in pickup , sluggish performance with pillion , sounds loud . Everything comes back to normal after engine cools down .

I think 5K in <=3 gear is overkill I keep it max 4K till 3rd gear with pillion.

Normally this engine gets loud after 5k rpm. Around 5k-6k vibrations increase and there's a humming sound, which is normal. It goes away after 6k RPM. Bike engines need to run hot, those symptoms which you described for a hot engine applies to rich AFR.

What do you suggest? How to resolve this issue ? I went to the service centre and they changed some components from engine I have attached them below

Ask the svc to change the carb setting to stock. I would say that it is quite normal with this engine to sound rough and loud when hot due to the oil used.

The noise you said which comes around 5k seems normal. After 5k the bike gets loud, which is also normal. The vibrations you feel at around 5k is also normal. Every engine vibrates more at some rpm.

Generally in traffic the bike is sluggish with a pillion due to the taller gearing.

leech I have completed two services in authorised SVC and every time they have replaced the oil with CBR throttle only is this not the case with you ?

That extra sound is normal. About smoothness, I think it's because the oil is old.

Guys, just got information that waiting period for Hornet is now 4 months. Demand is high! Nowadays only dual tone Hornet can be seen. For single disc only 1.15 lac is quoted...

I personally wouldn't suggest any one to buy this bike . Not sure if I m the unlucky one but my bike heats up in 10-12 km rides and becomes very sluggish and rough to ride(former Apache 160 owner) as everyone knows Apache is not a very smooth bike . Hornet at least the one I got is way worse . I complained and they replaced some engine parts worth 2k but the problem is as it is. Will again need to take it to SVC . Waste of time and money.

1.15!!!!😳
That's damn too high for Hornet. Even CBS isn't that worthy. We can get RTR 200 4v less than that price point.
