Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Same here buddy. My bike is running like 5 year old bike. Service quality is very poor. So I complained to Honda and now service centre is calling me there to get it done again in presence of service manager.Originally posted by anoopkumar0 View Post

Tadband RAAM honda is best in my opinion.with my previous cb dazzler I have serviced in different ASS.As that showroom is main branch they do good service.better find a good mechanic in ASS,make sure to get service from same person only.JSP is not gone well with me.Originally posted by raaz321 View Postguys anyone here from Hyderabad ? which is the best service center in Hyderabad, like who do the service better like having good reputation. i heard few service centers don't do properly and some other loot our vehicle parts with damaged one of other vehicle by taking money from them is that true , i brought this bike from my 2 years salary savings so bit concerned. it's my first bike too

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
For chainlube u better DIY.They are good at water washing only,I'm fed up with my CB dazzler service in ASS.believe me bcz of only my bike gone bad later I changed to local good mechanic and it comes to former glory.when you go to ASS you get something repaired in contrast something will broken again. My recommendation is to get service from same mechanic always.Originally posted by anoopkumar0 View PostNot shouting but have to talk strictly. Other wise they will they will do half work and try to convince you it's done.
Few page back I already mentioned. Two of us Hornet owner paid for chain clean and lube but they did nothing , also try to convice they cleaned and lubed ot but washed away in water washing.

Take it on Monday. Should be fine. Just tell them you were in hospital because of some emergency.Originally posted by raaz321 View PostGuys really confused suggest me ! brought hornet just completed 200km and first service is on 26th oct, i have office on Monday so i have to take this bike on Sunday to Hyderabad which is 430km a way ,i planned to drive 430 km starting at 11am something, so before service i can complete 700km approx. but my friends are really scaring me saying you can't drive that long and bike will also get damaged . and saying it will take 12-14 hours. is that true ? do bike really get damaged , i have never drove even 100km before. taking bike through bus cost me 4000 approx, train is not possible for me, so suggest me guys
Use the same reason down the line, if required.
Be polite when requesting.
Try to unplug the speedometer. Don’t let it go above recommended service level. And recommend rpm.
If you have manual with you, service it there. You can service it any where in India.
Or tell them that, Sunday is holiday so you didn’t come. You don’t know they work on Sunday right??Last edited by kris123456; 10-22-2017, 01:23 AM.

If you have to do it you can do it. You don't have too be too cautious about it.Originally posted by raaz321 View PostGuys really confused suggest me ! brought hornet just completed 200km and first service is on 26th oct, i have office on Monday so i have to take this bike on Sunday to Hyderabad which is 430km a way ,i planned to drive 430 km starting at 11am something, so before service i can complete 700km approx. but my friends are really scaring me saying you can't drive that long and bike will also get damaged . and saying it will take 12-14 hours. is that true ? do bike really get damaged , i have never drove even 100km before. taking bike through bus cost me 4000 approx, train is not possible for me, so suggest me guys
As you have also not driven more than 100km, take break after an hour (or 80km) for you and bike.
Maintain your speed 4-5.5K rpm (around 55 - 65 Kmph)
As, in break-in period constant throttle is not advisable for long time, so vary your throttle/speed.
Also, if you haven't done high RPM till now, occasionally you can do it, steadily increase throttle to 7-8K rpm. It opens up the engine.
I think, covering 430Km will take you 10hours. As you need to take rest after 70-80Km and lunch break of 30min.Last edited by anoopkumar0; 10-22-2017, 10:39 AM.------------------

I think, we are missing something here. He is 450 Km away from Hyderabad and his bike has done only 200Km. So he didn't ride there. He went by bus or train, but his bike is in hyderabad.Originally posted by anoopkumar0 View PostIf you have to do it you can do it. You don't have too be too cautious about it.

You wont get responses there too. you will get blessings.
Sorry for being sarcastic. This is how bad consumer service & protection is in India.
Try to write a letter in MS word. Take a Print out of it. Send it to Honda India CEO and CTO through Post Office. Ask for RPAD registered post.
it will take time, but you will definitely get Response.
Reason Being,
If you don't get response, you can file a court case based on this letter. As the letter is addressed to CEO directly, they will have to come to your city and your court from their HQ. So, you will get response not because, you sent to them. but they would be afraid of travelling charges/inconvienences.
Do it only if you are in real trouble and the mistake is on their side and you can prove it on Paper. It might backfire badly if you misuse it.
BTW whats the issue you are facing? Why are you in such situation to escalate things? any major problem with bike and Honda not addressing the same?Last edited by kris123456; 10-22-2017, 01:25 PM.

I know the situation, that's why I mentioned "Can anyone share consumer complain email of Honda where you got some reply? " .Originally posted by kris123456 View Post
Moreover in my experience with other product like Internet connections (Act Fibernet, hathway), Sony India and few other companies, complain over customer care are not taken that priority. But email to customer care monitored by higher official and your complain will be taken care with seriousness.

As far as I know, there's buffer of 15 days with any scheduled service. I had it done after 7 days once.Originally posted by raaz321 View PostGuys really confused suggest me ! brought hornet just completed 200km and first service is on 26th oct, i have office on Monday so i have to take this bike on Sunday to Hyderabad which is 430km a way ,i planned to drive 430 km starting at 11am something, so before service i can complete 700km approx. but my friends are really scaring me saying you can't drive that long and bike will also get damaged . and saying it will take 12-14 hours. is that true ? do bike really get damaged , i have never drove even 100km before. taking bike through bus cost me 4000 approx, train is not possible for me, so suggest me guysRide hard, Ride safe! :D

Only if I call Honda then they promise to reply but haven't since last 2 weeks. They redirect the issue to dealers directly. God knows how's support for CBR higher segment bikes... Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
sorry guys may be my explanation is not proper! i brought the bike in my village and completed 200km there now i have to take this bike to Hyderabad which is 450km away from my village. if i took the bike through train or bus etc ,i have to do service with 200km only . as i am a new rider and this ismy first bike, people scared me to not take the 450 km drive .
but i did completed the trip .which took around 11 hours 30 minutes with 5-10 halts between 70-100km like that, mostly i maintained 50-60km with 4-5k RPM, but some times i drove through 70-100 for few minutes like 5-8minutes . didn't faced any issues but chain noise observed and gears giving some hard sound, and sometimes they are not changing
don't know if i screwed up my bike . through completed trip with some body pains. thank you very much for the people who encourage me to take this trip , through i never did a 30km long trip before .

Re: Honda CB Hornet 160R Owners Experiences
Good to know that you drove about 450kms. And glad that you maintained within 60kmph most of the time. As you didn’t abuse the bike engine shouldn’t have got the hit.Originally posted by raaz321 View Postsorry guys may be my explanation is not proper! i brought the bike in my village and completed 200km there now i have to take this bike to Hyderabad which is 450km away from my village. if i took the bike through train or bus etc ,i have to do service with 200km only . as i am a new rider and this ismy first bike, people scared me to not take the 450 km drive .
